Shows they should ditch all the analytics and have s count actually watching players. We’ve wasted another fortune on technology that doesn’t improve our recruitment.

As I've said elsewhere, I'd love Roy Keane. Results aside, it would be fun.
Agreed Paul, I’m sure Roy would bring a consistent winning mentality.

You are not taxed on it if you don’t take it up.
3 hours ago, Bad Boy said:Free tickets for staff are a taxable benefit which explains the need to remove them. Maybe the staff are able to watch the games live by other means - clearly the Club cannot explain what these ‘alternative’ ways of watching are or they may well fall foul of the HMRC. This is a NON story.
If replied to this once and it’s been pulled, so let me repeat. I’ve worked as an accountant all my working life, for multinationals. The latest being an Indian multinational. So yes I do know how HMRC work. I have dealings with them both for personal taxation and customs, Brexit being the bain of my life for the last 2 years. In simple terms the £6.65 is a tax on the employee and has no impact on the club. The employee decides if they want to take up the benefit. Maggot and his finance bitch should have left as is. Shows small minded mentality.

well he was sat in his normal seat for all the home league games so far including last night
I bet the tight fisted twat didn’t pay for his ticket yet the backroom boys and girls don’t get in for free. What does it cost maggot? The costs are fixed the ground has 9k supporters get real FREE TICKETS FOR THE LOYAL STAFF.😡

Could you see him? Grey bastard against a grey wall.

it is on Sky Sports Arena
Or you buy a Rovers match pass for 10 pounds
Buy tickets, everyone welcome. Edge of seat entertainment right through to the 98th minute. It’s a bargain.

Stopped several times in the hotel next to Schalke’s ground in Gelsenkirchen. It’s really impressive, sadly there was never a game on to go to. The Rollings Stones stopped there for a gig at the ground, the top two floors where blocked off so I couldn’t get near them. Dortmund v Schalke is on my bucket list to do as is Inter v AC.

Tax evasion standard practice in India. The largest bank deposited in Swiss banks belong to India’s. Where is Venkeys European headquarters?👍

Remember the one about the neglectful parents, who went off on holiday, leaving their toddler with dodgy babysitters? Well, our so-called, badly advised parents have done this not once, but several times over... "Why, oh why do we keep getting it so wrong?"
Meanwhile, too many of our fans keep falling for the "fresh start" syndrome, where previous context is conveniently ignored.
What next for Venky's?..Stay Badly advised for a decade-Fred and Rose West Babysitting Service...

Venky’s aren’t the only ones to blame, but they own the club, so ultimately, the Buck stops with them….
Read my initial post. That’s EXACTLY what I posted.

Hold on John Boy. If you bought a house, would you not make any repairs, maintenance, general upkeep, pay the bills? They bought it.
Agreed Sparky, they’ve done that, but they’ve been advised by Delboy, employed Arthur Daley as CEO, and Mr Bean as manager.

Luca Toni is the free signing. Seen at Brockhall having his medical. Toni finally at the mighty Rovers. Mowbray says promotion guaranteed.

Bad night for the u23s in the Premier League Cup. Thrashed 4-1 by Notts Forest, who operate in a lower league than us. They did, however, field a very young side, whilst Forest included Lolley in theirs. He gives our first team a torrid time, so unsurprisingly he gave our kids a torrid time too by the sound of it, including scoring 2.
I think it’s going to be a tough season for Mike and the under23s. With most of the boys either playing for the first team or on the bench it will essentially be the u18s for most of the games. If they avoid relegation it will be a brilliant season.

They'll get him on a deal. The issue will be length. Needs to be nice and long but agent might advise him to push for shorter. No sense in young players leaving Rovers academy at scholarship age. Cat 1, top youth league, clear progression opportunities evidenced every season. I'd be massively shocked if we lost him.
There is a possibility if manure or Liverpool come in with a silly bid in the millions. Don’t forget Liverpool did that with at 16yr old they loaned to us last season.

It's my understanding the 3 year cycle is rolling, not a 3 year cycle and start again.
My understanding is the same as yours, but by clearing out the old guard on massive (for Rovers) salaries the rolling average will give a new manager more leeway than Mowbray has had.

And does that have any bearing on whether Annesley will get a game as a Rovers center-half ?
You obviously don’t like the lad, I hope he proves you wrong. Don’t come on the site if he makes the grade crowing about how you knew he had it.
-
He knows plenty on Scottish football so should be okay when we drop into league 1

I would say Annesley is sixth in line for a center-half position. Ayala, Lenihan,Carter, Wharton, Phillips, I would put ahead of him. I do not know the reason why he did not get a loan, perhaps he didn't want one.
1 hour ago, bluebruce said:8th. He is behind Magloire and Van Hecke too.
Given another 12 months to fill out like Wharton, he’ll be ahead of Lenihan, he’s got better distribution and is very comfortable on the ball. As for Magloire he currently has too many misjudgments in a game. He puts the willies up me at times.
Summer transfer window 2021.

Agreed Wheelton, if he can spot someone that fits our needs why pay a fortune on analytics?
If it’s so easy apply for the job and put forward your recommendations. He’s paid on results, it’s easy to to say you could do the job, try doing it.
