Ideally it would be a new center half with Williams & Wharton vying for 3rd spot but in the absence of that experience gets the nod for now for me.

My take on Raya is he'll know Brentford sell players after they've polished them up a bit so he'll be flogged sooner or later whether he likes it o not. When that time comes it might not be Arsenal knocking on the door these chances don't come often, then there's the coach angle. If you're going to be a no 2 anywhere then why not there, lets just take our cut and wish him well.
-
You really think they'll get refunds if it comes to that ? Chances are they've borrowed against the ST money and that'll be gone.
-
But we should have been looking elsewhere for the last 9 months not just hanging our hat on him. Just sums up the current blaze' attitude of this regime. Once he'd got a serious injury our thoughts should have turned elsewhere what is it with this lot and some of our fans that we always have to be seen to be looking after everybody else. The only thought should be strengthen the team as quickly as possible not on might he get fit/might he not 50% chance punts ! F### O## !

Credit to the notloB lot but i think they'll end up stung badly to be honest.
-
I don't think they ever even consider entertaining the Jan window despite what they say. It's a complete write off as far as Rovers are concerned hell even fighting relegation and desperate for defenders as usual they just signed a lanky forward on loan. A lanky forward who just happened to be on the books of the temporary Advisors wife ! If we don't get anything done worthwhile by October you can bet 100% there'll be nothing in January and any pennies will stay in the pot.

To be followed by just missed out headlines.

Swaggo looks to squeeze the minorities even when the stadium is open and anyone can go. First it was tax pay on the dayers then it was bump up STs year on year. Now all that's done it's only the corporates left to go but in true suited style they get the pick of the best views and facilities in the ground.
-
Write it off then i don't think there's much stomach for a fight and although he's twice the player Bell is he's not one i'd go all out for given the injury. Sad fact is that's just the type Mowbray appears to feel safe signing, a project to get fit, nice lad already knows him and no doubt his agent. Easy to write off if it doesn't work.

Singh's presence and interference totally upset Kean & Anderson little money making racket and for that i'd always buy him a pint. It was far too late though to make much difference in the grand scheme of things and the longer he was around he began to add to it. Had his own delusions of grandeur and money making after his war with Shagnew.

And Suhail and Venkys other 'advisors' plus owners who don't call back for 2 days.
-
I think with Rovers it depends on who these agents are.
-
He might just have asked for first class tickets, meals, hotel and expenses for all we know. Remember this is the man who told those listening that Bauers agent wanted 40/50k pwk for his client. A few weeks before Preston signed him.

Good old Swaggo get the white collars in first in the prime seats.
-
It does if Tony doesn't want to sell him. For the money they'd get it wouldn't go far on a replacement and think of the team spirit if Del is popular. Nobody has said they want to see him go nor has the player himself only that's there's been interest. Some of it long standing, now then how long does he have left on his contract ?

All signs point to Nyambe,Lenihen, Williams, Bell for Saturdays game. When i said i think they are half hearted in their approach to these defenders they are alleged to be after i think it's because the above is TM first choice back line. I really don't think he rates those he's after as any better than Williams and that lot all fall within budget, so he won't pay them more when they'd be coming in as back up. It's how he's worked the past few years so no reason to think anything has changed. Release the groundhog the season is here again, usual suspects in front of yet another change of keeper. The detail is in the planning.

Like the time mid season the wise old owl let capable back up defender Downing go on loan because it was the right thing to do for the player. Then within 2 weeks we had a center half crisis ! No wonder people question his agenda sometimes, play offs or just the players ? Uncle Tone.
-
It's like a franchise sponsored by a huge overseas corporation except managing losses is the aim of the game rather than profit. Still people sat hidden in the middle of it all like brokers imo.
-
Their nest is well feathered in all this and the owners are swallowing this slow build, transition from midtable to er.. midtable. Compared to being at Coventry or Charlton this is like running Man City to these fellas they must pinch themselves every payday. Best job in football. Next couple of seasons will really show if they are dynasty building or taking the piss.

This seasons great new punchline on here now 'Swag Tax' ?
-
So a 10 million quid profit on trading yet still eye watering losses on wages and running costs ? Strange set up but one that seems to suit the host corporation for some reason. Wonder if there's a secret divi bled out somehow on player trading ? Of more interest would be the agents fees for that table ! Looks like the remit is just to try and keep average annual losses below the 20 million mark rather than go for promotion. Odd.

We also had shitehawks like Shaw & co doing administrative duties back then and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he did nothing to try and kick the club on. We forget sometimes just how bad it was back then.
-
And finally at last the layers get peeled back and at the center of the boil is the pus !
-
Funny how this now fabled and expensive recruitment dept is coming up with names everybody already knows are good and other teams are already in front of us. About time it turned up a few rabbits out the hat, hopefully the keeper is one.

The famous Rovers wage bill, i bet the payroll would make real interesting reading. Anyway it looks like we might have to prepare for rotating young center halves. Get the tombola machine serviced and ready....
