  1. Hopefully Rothwell is okay.

Not the best performance, but nice to see us come back to take a hard fought point. Millwall have strengthened quite a bit this season, and being able to hold them on their 1st home game post-lockdown is pretty good.

Don't care if we have 20% possession and 1 shot on goal. If we can get results like this, we can have a good season.

We've not shown much it's true, but to be fair neither have they...there's been a remarkable absence of even a hint of a scoring chance.

Not that I don't think we could concede at any second, but then I've always felt like that in the Mowbray era.

We've tried to make something happen, but they've been defending really well while also putting in crunching tackles which is causing our players to panic and release the ball too early.

  3. I think this is the worst Championship lineup in quite some time. Other than the relegated PL teams, everyone looks bang average. The teams competing for promotion that didn’t make it last season all look weaker.

Some of the mid-tier sides like Millwall, Cardiff and Boro look to have strengthened but I still don’t think there’s anything to fear this season. Even with our depleted squad.

If by some miracle we avoid another injury crisis like last season then this could be a really enjoyable season watching our young squad fulfil their potential.

This of course is my feeling only based on an excellent first game of the season!

  4. The main thing that sticks out to me this season is that while yes, we had some absolutely fantastic wins like the recent 5-2 drubbings of Huddersfield and Brum, all of these great wins have come against the weaker teams in the league.

The highest placed team we managed to beat was Barnsley, followed by QPR, Boro and Millwall after that.

That is really unacceptable and speaks to how poor our season was. There’s no way we can challenge for top 6 if we can’t even manage 1 win against the better teams.

Regardless of the injuries we had this season, we should be doing better and it’s been clear that tactically we have been outclassed by most teams in the division.

Unless Mowbray brings in some world beaters to take our game to the next level, I can’t see how he will be able to do better next season.

Rovers tweeted the info about this at least twice since it was known

Not very helpful for those of us not on Twitter is it?

It also says it’s not available for non-season pass holders. I have a season pass. It would help if they at least said what network is broadcasting it internationally but you can’t get that info anywhere from iFollow or the Rovers website.

I read that the game has been selected for overseas TV so not available for IFollow outside UK. Did they still allow you to pay? that is poor form if so!

I’ve paid for the season but they don’t tell you what games won’t be shown at the start of the season. Every few weeks you find out the game is actually being shown on one of 3 different networks.

  7. Is the game not being shown on iFollow for international viewers?

Only have audio option on mine.

Honestly it’s an absolute joke. Too many games don’t get shown and there’s very little information or notification about what games won’t be shown. What am I paying my money for? I’m likely not renewing next season just because of that.
