Agree with both speedie and oldjamfan, I think Europe will get found out this time. Some of the older players are on the wane and McIIroy, despite all the hype, has not performed at the very top level for what seems like years. Home advantage, few European supporters attending and the USA captain getting 6 picks instead of 3 will work against us and I believe the USA players are on the up and are taking the Ryder Cup more seriously than they have done in the past. Some of our rookies may also get blown away by the big hitting Americans.
I think Stricker may prove to be a bit more canny than people think and Harrington has made a big mistake by letting his heart rule his head in picking Lowry over Justin Rose.
