  1. Please note Tony: In our current position we don’t need a ball playing centre half like Alan Hansen or Franz Beckenbauer, we need a John McNamee, Kevin Moran or an Andy Todd!
  2. I had the pleasure of seeing the Stones in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's and 2010's and as you can see from my avatar, they have played a big part in my life. Such an unassuming and smart man and one hell of a drummer. R.I.P Charlie
  3. Agree. They reminded me of Sheffield Utd a couple of seasons ago, early doors when it was obvious they were odds on for promotion. Billy Sharp couple if my memory serves me right.
  4. As oldjamfan was using Alan Partridge type quotes the other day, I will continue with.... 'Back of the Net' 😄 The Rolling Stones - Miss You
  5. I still have to pinch myself to think about what he did for our club but also for the town and community. These days now that I’m a ‘Senior’ and don’t sing like I did from the 60’s onwards there is one song I never fail to sing and that is…. ”One Jack Walker, there’s only Jack Walker” Forever grateful to the Rovers number one fan of all time!
  6. And that was the problem at Millwall in the first half. Despite all his endeavour and enthusiasm, he failed to hold the ball up to give us some respite and was too easily knocked off the ball by the physical Millwall defenders. It’s just not working and that is plain to see except from the man that matters. Feel we may nick this one 2-1, Ayala and Gallagher.
  7. He was much better today after a few dodgy games. Stood up well to their physical threat.
  8. Sad to say but is anyone on here tonight shocked by that result and 2nd half performance? We would have been pre 2010 but not these days.
