  7. I used to look at International breaks as a bind but now I’m warming to this team and the Manager. To say that they have such little time together, they are well drilled with a positive game plan and no big time Charlie’s, unlike the so-called golden generation. Would even go as far as to say, that potentially, the best England team since the 1970 World Cup side.
  8. Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Give It Away
  9. Neil Young - She’s a Healer
  10. The Clash - Should I Stay or Should I Go
  11. Little Walter - Blues with a Feeling
  12. Please note Tony: In our current position we don’t need a ball playing centre half like Alan Hansen or Franz Beckenbauer, we need a John McNamee, Kevin Moran or an Andy Todd!
  13. Slade - Get Down and Get With It
  14. Brian Eno - Small Craft on a Milk Sea
  15. I had the pleasure of seeing the Stones in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's and 2010's and as you can see from my avatar, they have played a big part in my life. Such an unassuming and smart man and one hell of a drummer. R.I.P Charlie
  16. David Bowie - Rebel Rebel
  17. Love Affair - Rainbow Valley
  18. Judas Priest - Breaking the Law
  19. Agree. They reminded me of Sheffield Utd a couple of seasons ago, early doors when it was obvious they were odds on for promotion. Billy Sharp couple if my memory serves me right.
  20. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - Jubilee Street
  21. As oldjamfan was using Alan Partridge type quotes the other day, I will continue with.... 'Back of the Net' 😄 The Rolling Stones - Miss You
  22. Roberta Flack - Killing Me Softly With His Song
  23. Well I was pretty close. 9/10 seems about right?
  24. John Lennon - Jealous Guy
  25. I still have to pinch myself to think about what he did for our club but also for the town and community. These days now that I’m a ‘Senior’ and don’t sing like I did from the 60’s onwards there is one song I never fail to sing and that is…. ”One Jack Walker, there’s only Jack Walker” Forever grateful to the Rovers number one fan of all time!
