Seen a couple of comments saying none of Waggott, Suhail or Silvester were at the game on Saturday. I don't know how true that is, but it is possible that they all left for India after Wednesday's meeting with the fans/players.

I have seen a report Waggott was seen looking discomforted by a Waggott Out sign in the Jack Walker stand. That said RoversTV wasn't showing anything of the Directors' Boxes beyond an "oh look, there's John Eustace" just after kick off and the camera had moved away before I had chance to look up and see the picture of him.

I really do think the day trip to Pune has been discredited BUT as has been pointed out, if they can make Zoom work better than they can file registrations, the meeting could have happened virtually.

Certainly in the JDT v Swag muscle contest, there was definitely a point at which Swag was losing as evidenced by JDT taking charge v QPR so Swag has swung the Raos back into his corner at some point last week.

  2. Worth recalling that Broughton has said very clearly that his job has always been to have a succession plan for all positions he is responsible for.

The speed of the Eustace appointment reflects that.

And other than possible Swag sabotage, as far as I am aware there was no plan on either side for JDT to leave so soon until the McGuire cock-up. Not all was rosy in the garden and there was a serious problem but not with JDT directly beyond the long running antipathy JDT/Swag which was manageable.

Eustace could be a very good addition but Swag remains a massive problem.

And then there is the Rao family who apparently are not all singing from the same hymn sheet and at least one of whom intervened very directly 9 days ago if certain leaks are to be believed. If true, Swag is unlikely to be CEO beyond the end of the season.

  3. Well done RoversTV for a long lingering look at the Waggott Out banner!

No passing it about at the back or short corners and possession dropped from the 60% norm to under 40%.

The direct stuff lead to the third goal but would we have been going so direct without Gally restored to centre forward after such a long lay-off. Hedges, Brittain and Chrisene were all excellent but JRC slightly less influential than I would have hoped for.

Really pleased with McFazdean and O'Reardon looked promising in his short cameo at the end. Great to put another 2 points between QPR and ourselves and for Eustace, a nice selection headache forTuesday.

All they really had to do was prove they have suitable legal cash flow to run the club and cash at hand as back up.

    That's it

Nope, their record of charitable giving and evidence of wealth plus testimonials including banking referenced, police records and other things were and are part of the test.

  5. According to Scudamore, the then CEO of the PL, the Raos passed fit and proper better than any other new owner.

Given fit and proper did not include questions such as

    1) what do you know about football?

    2) who is advising you?

    3) is there a wannabe playboy in the family who wants a new toy?

I can say with extensive corroboraion of Richard Scudamore's comment that Raos did indeed shine in the fit and proper examination.

I come back to the following fundamentals

    - the Raos are in the small multi billionaire class so what possessed them to apparently fraudulently mis classify a property and a birthday party in their filings in India back in 2011?

    - the entire shit show that is Rovers 2023/24 stems from what the Raos apparently signed off in 2011.

This mess is as personal to them as the decision to rely on Jerome Anderson and the total destruction of the club as a Premier League operation as a consequence.

    He's a puppet. Nothing more.

The Raos are 100% responsible for all of this.

    Raos out now!

    Too simple.

Don't underestimate the ability of snakes to take advantage of chaos caused by the ownership.

There were multiple villains back in 2010-2012.

It is naive to assume there aren't more than one villain pursuing their own separate agendas now.

He's a puppet acting under orders.

Delay the Wharton transfer to give an excuse that we didn't have enough time to sign anyone else.

Fuck the McGuire paperwork up to stop the transfer.

We already know the owners put a stop to money being spent.

If he's really done all of this off his own back then why hasn't he been fired?

    He's shielding the owners.

The Raos are the ones to target.

The reason I think you are wrong with regards to Swag as the Venky's puppet in all this is the bizarre circumstances last weekend.

If you stop the Manager talking it is because you have sacked him.

Then JDT took charge of the QPR game.

    Why?

That smacks of Swag being stopped from sacking JDT and that order to stop it can only have come from Pune overriding SWAG.
