Suggestions last night that Eustace might produce a combination of the best of JDT with pragmatism.

I got lucky and joined it 10 minutes before Buckley came on.
What a massive difference the subs made. Bucko is no Adam Wharton (who is?) but he looked class in that company last night. Excellent discipline at the back especially getting all those offsides with such doolally officials.
In the final analysis, PNE created one moment of madness in our box and forced the ball home. We created one moment of mayhem in the Cardiff box and didn't.
I would be far more worried as a Cardiff supporter looking at their players than I am as a Rovers supporter looking at our's.

Poor Tony. Hoping he has a full and rapid recovery.

Not sure if it's a bad angle but Fleck looks way out of shape for a footballer 😳
Certainly looks chunky compared with his colleagues.

Come off it, he’s only CEO to tick a box with the EFL.
Waggott is a hired goon.
Only pointing out what a CEO's job entails.
Waggott is not fit to be a CEO.

Feeling very apprehensive about this one

My first post on this thread.
When in a relegation battle, the most important rule is don't lose relegation 6 pointers and we have broken it twice in the last 11 days.
So we are suddenly Stoke fans for the next 12 hours. If the Potters lose at Loftus Road we are deep in it.

Venky is the nickname of the Rao father who founded and built it up.
So Venky is Rao.
The folk running the show now are actually Dessais. The daughter and her husband.
The two Rao brothers have equal individual votes with the husband and wife but take a much lesser role in operations.
Madam is effectively the big boss.

The correct answer is no idea.
But external factors have resulted in promises to Lambert and JDT being reneiged on so it is a good job Eustace believes he already has the tools to do the job.
Reverting to pre March 2023 Venkynomics and behaviour, we would be looking at a Gregg budget of around 15m.
March 2023 feels like a lifetime ago.

Now we no longer have Adam in midfield, we are seeing how integral he was to the side and what a huge hole his leaving has created.

Behave, Phil, it would be 100% on these owners as you know very well.
As CEO, your job is to manage upwards as well as the business.
Swag clearly is failing in that regard too.

Have I missed Harry Leonard getting injured?
He is a natural finisher and header and that last gasp header would probably have been a goal if Harry had been the one with the chance.

We are hoping for the best of JDT ball allied to Eustace.
Last night we got the worst of both.

If we get relegated, it will be 100% the responsibility of this incompetent as CEO who is failing on every practically dimension a CEO is measured on.

We keep signing players from the likes of Crewe and we end up like Crewe,
Just a matter of time.
Southampton playing Hollis-Bells,Armstrong and Rothwell and winning.

Oh dear that was really bad.
Huge job for Eustace to do now.

Gally showing the case against giving a new contract.
Chrisene poor.
No penetration in the team so far.
Good job Birmingham aren't shooting straight .. yet?

I don't believe we have a sell on.
Hope I am wrong but I don't think so.

Totally mystery this one- impossible to forecast with any confidence.
We have beaten Brum during the JDT era when in all honesty they played us off the park.

Seen a couple of comments saying none of Waggott, Suhail or Silvester were at the game on Saturday. I don't know how true that is, but it is possible that they all left for India after Wednesday's meeting with the fans/players.
I have seen a report Waggott was seen looking discomforted by a Waggott Out sign in the Jack Walker stand. That said RoversTV wasn't showing anything of the Directors' Boxes beyond an "oh look, there's John Eustace" just after kick off and the camera had moved away before I had chance to look up and see the picture of him.
I really do think the day trip to Pune has been discredited BUT as has been pointed out, if they can make Zoom work better than they can file registrations, the meeting could have happened virtually.
Certainly in the JDT v Swag muscle contest, there was definitely a point at which Swag was losing as evidenced by JDT taking charge v QPR so Swag has swung the Raos back into his corner at some point last week.

Been looking at press and video coverage of Swag in this somewhat eventful week and I am struggling to find the gap of sufficient time for him to have made the trip to Pune, had the meeting and got back.
I did a day trip to Memphis once but that involved the best part of three days from leaving my London office to getting back to my desk.

Worth recalling that Broughton has said very clearly that his job has always been to have a succession plan for all positions he is responsible for.
The speed of the Eustace appointment reflects that.
And other than possible Swag sabotage, as far as I am aware there was no plan on either side for JDT to leave so soon until the McGuire cock-up. Not all was rosy in the garden and there was a serious problem but not with JDT directly beyond the long running antipathy JDT/Swag which was manageable.
Eustace could be a very good addition but Swag remains a massive problem.
And then there is the Rao family who apparently are not all singing from the same hymn sheet and at least one of whom intervened very directly 9 days ago if certain leaks are to be believed. If true, Swag is unlikely to be CEO beyond the end of the season.

Yes definitely need to get Dolan signed up.

A month on from the McGuire debacle and nobody senior taking responsibility.
I can only conclude that Pune pulled the plug not only on McGuire but O'Brien last year also.
If you are reading this, I managed to hit "submit reply"
Much as I have an extremely low opinion of Waggott, I don't for a moment believe he is incapable of supervising someone hitting the right computer key...
