In 3 previous games this season we’ve scored 2 and lost. Wouldn’t be surprised if did that today.

Could be a cricket score.

Boro winning ? was hoping woodgate was done for and an sos to Tony the home town hero.

Unchanged side. Unchanged tactics. This is bitterly cynical but part of me thinks he’s done it vs the best team in the division away because if/when we get stuffed it’ll give him carte Blanche to tinker to his hearts content. Then for the rest of the season it’ll be when we didn’t change it up leeds stuffed us.
But credit where it’s due. The most successful teams generally play the same players in the same positions in the same formation.

T minus 2 hours before one tombola machine spits out random names and another machine choosing the formation. The only certainty is Bennett will be somewhere he is exempt from the lottery.

There’s 6 teams between us and the drop. I think boro, Stoke and Huddersfield will come good. Well not even come good just finish ahead of us. Think Barnsley and Luton will struggle. So realistically I’d like us to stay ahead of Wigan and reading.
Sorry what am I talking about we’re in a play off push. Silly me.

Puyol at centre back!?! Disagree with Tonebola there with beckenbauer, Bobby Moore, baresi. Would also be tempted to put maldini at LB over Carlos.

Incredible score from England yesterday. 241 with 31 dot balls is some going. Plus with a slow start could have been 250+. Probably scored more in those 20 overs than we’ll score in any innings when the real stuff gets underway.
4 wickets from Parky but he took some tap. Malan 103 from 51. But the latter just signed for Yarkshite ? don’t know how they do it. Lancs crying out for an experienced no 4 as well.

I don't believe that Bielsa really has a plan B.
This is possibly true but unfortunately that have a plan A which is one more than Tonebola has.

Yes gambling on how crap we are has been relatively profitable. I had £100 sitting on Preston at 8/1 when they scored their first and bottled it and went for £10 instead.
I agree 7/1 seems a bit generous but I also don't think the Wednesday result is anything to get carried away with and fully expect to lose today.
I put £30 on at 8/1. Just before pne scored it went up about 16/1 tried for another £20 but they scored as was doing it and all bets suspended. At 2-1 to us Preston still pretty much went to evens.
Its been bloody miserable as a rovers fan of late. But for folk who are prepared to financially back their dim view of rovers it’s been rather lucrative.

Bookies have us at 7/1 in a 2 horse race. To be fair could be longer. Another interestingly priced game. If there’s someone who went on Saturday as a jw walk on and is going today they’ll be £87 lighter on 2 tickets. Anything more than £20 in the championship is a rip off.

I’m not convinced by those numbers. No way Eeyore is on £2 million a year it just isn’t happening.

If those wages are right it’s bloody scandalous. If that wet paper bag is on £40,000 per week I will literally give up going. Anything over £5,000 would be exceedingly generous considering he’s useless and we’re £150 million in debt.

Sam Billings seems to have been bang average for years, and he's already 28, surely they can't keep calling him the young prospect any more?
Billings is someone who always gets picked and always gets an IPL team but not entirely sure why. He’s got poor batting averages and now he seems to be keeping as well. ?♂️

The stadium is empty. One half must be closed off entirely and the half that’s being used is half full at best. They built this stadium as the basin reserve has limited capacity. Might as well have played there as can’t be more than 10,000 in.
Would be gutted to go all the way to Wellington and end up in this McStadium over the basin reserve.

Just watched the t20 highlights. A lot of very poor shots there. 0/1 off the first ball with Bairstow chipping it to mid off giving catching practice. Vince having dropped two catches then leaves us 3/2 after slashing at a wide one to deep point.

When Sheffield Wednesday scored Mowbray was just about to bring on Corey Evans to protect a 0-0 scoreline and hopefully take a point. His petulant outburst - throwing the bottle on the pitch - shows he is still passionate, or under huge pressure, but his decision making shows he not up to the task at hand.
As it was Murphy’s 83rd minute goal forced Mowbray’s hand. There was no way he could bring Evans on at that point. Painted into a corner he sent Evans to get changed and brought Buckley on instead. The young lad the game was crying out for and wouldn’t have been on the pitch if Mowbray had his way. We would all have been robbed of that - Buckley included.
Almost released from the shackles of another depressingly negative substitution, the players responded and we got one of the best finishes to a match in the last two-and-a-half years.
Interesting. Classic Mowbray. It’s just like under bowyer we’re terrified of trying to win if it means risking a defeat.

We limp on.

2-1 up 91 mins. Shouldn’t lose from here.

Still reckon we’ll lose.

Classic rovers.

Are we hoping a North East club will save us like they did with Souness? Is that the level we've sunk to?
Can you imagine. We get rid of Mowbray and get financially compensated to boot.
Leeds (A) - Same as last year lads... kind of.

So a soft penalty a Bennett special and an early consolation goal.
