  1. This pricing has been a massive own goal from a club whose standing in the community is near rock bottom and has been for nearly a decade. They should be bending over backwards to get bums on seats not playing a petty game of you shafted us so we’ll shaft you with Sheffield bloody Wednesday.

As usual the only ones who lose are BOTH sets of supporters.

A a side note the pricing is all out of kilter as it is. Apparently the one course jacks kitchen tickets are £50 but to walk on in jw it’s £48. So if anyone prepared to pay that might as well do hospitality for an extra £2 and a meal.

  2. Gutted.

They beat us in all the key areas - defence, attack, set pieces. Such a shame as this could have been the best England world cup ever. Daly was v questionable at 15. Nowell on the wing, Watson at 15 for me. Oh well.

Faf is such an irritating little shit. But highly effective. He dictated the tempo and it pissed us off. Even his hair irritates me.

So England lost, gbl lost vs New Zealand. Step forward Rovers...

Well Rovers in all fairness did announce prices for every home game before the season started. Very open and honest with fans

Open and honest ok. But totally out of touch with what I suspect the average fan can afford. I don’t want to sound arrogant but £40 is naff all to me and the guys I go to games with but there is a principle here. I wouldn’t pay £5 for a penny chew nor £40+ to watch Rovers in a division 2 game.

  4. We had every intention of watching rugby World Cup final then heading off to rovers to make a day of it £39-£48 walk on they can fuck right off. For this fixture I wouldn’t pay that out of principle. Can’t argue with the pricing at ewood. Shit team, playing shit. In a ground that’s 60% empty most weeks.

Hillsborough is always a rip off so might be pay back to their fans but they’ve shafted their home fans in the process.

  5. Also individual mistakes are the managers fault when said mistakes come from players that the manager should be dropping chiefly bennett and Walton.

For what it’s worth I think the other keeper is turd. But this is also Mowbrays fault for not adequately replacing raya.

Also strikers that can’t score. When the most successful striker we have can’t get a game because the manager needs to prove he hasn’t wasted 5 million on the prolific 1 goal in 28 games man-mowbrays fault. No defenders-mowbrays fault. 1000s of midfielders that don't really fit into any system-mowbrays fault.

Clearly it’s not all his fault but enough is to make his position untenable.

Nobody can be compared to Kean but Mowbray has a lot more in common with Coyle than I'm comfortable with. Bullshit is well up there for a start.

I would say the comparison is more like bowyer. Two decent blokes who brought back credibility then get hopefully out of their depth. They’re both quite boring monotone people coming out with the same inane comments.

For me with bowyer there was a tipping point where good will turned in to annoyance at practically everything he said. Now Mowbray with his “we’ll try” and his finger pointing at everyone but himself is going the same way.

Also I agree 100% zero comparisons can be made with Kean. I think the current situation is bad but it’s a milllion times better than shenanigans under Kean

  7. I think England are the best team left and out of South Africa and Wales I think South Africa are the better side but I genuinely think the Welsh would beat us. They seem to have a way of winding us up, chirping in the refs ear and we give away penalties.

Plus if the worst was to happen and England lost I couldn’t stomach wales as World Cup winners.

  8. The all blacks forwards were poor. Line outs lost, ball turned over too many times, slow at the breakdown and no counter rucking. The 2 former points were ironically how they thought we would lose.

Reid and Whitelock looked lost and the latter broke with that shove on Farrell's face. But it all came from England pressure. The line speed was immense and it was struggle from them to get over the gain line.

They won't have been used to a team coming at them like that in the tackle. England totally rattled them. We didn't have to defend our try line once. Just a breakdown in communications in the line out.

Unfathomably impressive against the all blacks. First time in 28 years they were 0 at ht and they were lucky not to be 0 at the end. England could easily have had another 20 points.

We've beaten the World Champions in the semi-final with them being allowed to pass the ball forward as well as back and having the TMO on their side. I think It's England's greatest ever Rugby performance.

As a side note - Hell, I can't believe it's been 24 years since Lomu steamed us that time.

I genuinely think one of the great England performances across all sports. Still stunned over that result. Comprehensively beat a very very good all black team. Who as you said were allowed to play onside or offside, pass the ball forward or backward and let’s say a generous TMO.
