Does he still post? He seem to mysteriously disappear at the same time some numpty was in the Telegraph for being guilty for sending harassment posts. I hoped it was him.

I think I saw him on the comments the other week but he’s one reason why I don’t read them very often these days.

The guy cant have a job, he’s literally on every Rovers article as soon as it’s online.

They’re also in bother with this, a club that finished 7th in the Premier League asking for free workers on match days, there is even a job description which looks an awful lot like what I would think a sterward’s job description would look like (and these free workers don’t even get to see the match) - disgraceful.

    What a shambles.

    (As John Claret would say)

How is Rodwell going to attain match fitness? I went to the development squad game last Friday, hoping that he might be included. The lads could have done with his experience. If it is correct that he played in one or two pre-season games for Watford, he should surely not be that far away from match fitness. Wonder if TM will arrange a behind closed doors game during the international break-that would surely be better than any amount of training? Perhaps he could be included in the next development squad fixture.

I hope TM does use the international break and gets a behind closed door game for Rodders to play in. As you say he needs match fitness.

If true, I can understand the lad's frustration. I was surprised he was not in the squad for Bristol-we could have done with his drive and energy in what was a rather lethargic performance by most of the players.

I can understand his frustration as well but refusing the bench and going out instead, not really acceptable.

yeah but the formations dont stay the same all the time, players change positions througout the games.
With those players we can easily(okay not really) defend with 2 holding midfielders and then switch to the other formation when in attack.

Yer formations need to be fluid but if you're switching between those 2 formations it's going to be tricky with those players.

You'd want Bennett in alongside Evans, which means someone has to go over to the right and one of the strikers needs to drop back. Any team that goes forward at pace would have either tons of space down the right or straight through the middle to overrun us before we got players back in time.

Surely its just better to keep the shape of the team and allow one of the holding mids to roam forward if we are on the front foot?

City can play that formation because they have 80% possession and the vast majority of the game is played in the opponents half.

isnt that how we pretty much play anyways?

             Raya

    Nyambe  Lenihan  Mulgrew  Williams

                 Bennett         Evans

    Armstrong        Dack       Palmer

                        Graham

With just Bennett for Richie here

No, we play the formation you've posted?

2 holding midfielders and 1 striker, not 1 holding midfielder and 2 strikers.
