Why is it a pile of crap? I am merely stating that I think it is disgraceful that some ''fans'' are not going even when it's free. I think its bad enough that fans wont pay either.... what game WOULD fill Ewood? This is our biggest game in years! What is going on with Rovers fans? Tonight, we play Salzburg in the 1st round of the Uefa Cup, yes the UEFA CUP! Europe! A small town team, in EUROPE! You'd think the ground would be packed to the rafters? We played 38 league games to get this far last season, sweat blood, had some fantastic wins, ups and downs, lows and highs yet some people cannot be bothered make the trip to Ewood Park on a week night to watch their team take on Europe.... why? I even know SEASON TICKET holders who arent going because they 'cant be bothered' and 'would rather watch in the pub'. I've even had a ''fan'' say he would go but his wife thinks it will be ''too cold''. Too cold?! Its hardly Stalingrad in 1942!!!! Nights like this make me proud to be a Rover; my team competing in Europe.... one of only a few in the whole country. But on the other hand I feel embarrassed and like we dont deserve to be playing in the competition when a measly attendance turn up. We'll be lucky to get 13,000 tonight... pathetic. A lot of ''fans'' I've heard blame the foreign telly, extortianate prices and home form in the past few years. However, its FREE for season ticket holders and only £15 for a ticket for non-season ticket holders. Hardly a bank-breaker, no matter how skint an average fan may be! Home form also isnt an issue.. we've only lost 3 games in 26. I really do think that if Rovers sent a taxi to certain fans houses, gave them a 3 course meal in the players lounge, wrapped them up in cotton wool so they arent cold and give them free entrance they still wouldnt go to the game. It does make you wonder where are club is going, and where it will be in a few years time. I hope the ''fans'' letting us down tonight are ashamed of themselves, and have the grace to accept they played a big part in the downfall. In the meantime, enjoy ''What not to Wear'' on BBC1.

Is it me, or is everyone sick of this Ashley Cole business? I've been getting a paper every morning for the past 2 weeks and all thats in it is Ashley Cole's cranky-looking face on the back trying to justify his move to Chelsea, incidentally for miles more money than he was on at Arsenal.... not that he was on the minimum wages, at Highbury. He's a tosser and players like him are forcing the true fans away from the game... Cant blame them.... Another Cole, this time Andy Cole signed for Man City last summer, he does nothing for a season on £50k a week then walk out and threaten to retire if he isnt allowed to leave to go to Pompey for an extra 10k a week. On Sky Sports news last night he was quoted as saying " I knew my time at Arsenal was over when I asked for £60K a week and they only offerrd me £55K " 55k? A WEEK?! Poor Ashley - struggling on a yearly salary of £2.86 MILLION. Cole goes on to complain about the fans not singing his name, and they were more bothered about Thierry Henry. So what? Henry is a class act and one of the best footballers to ever grace English turf, not just the premiership. In the end, Henry is the one to have shown Arsenal all the loyalty despite his Parisian routes and the offer of football with arguably bigger clubs in the shape of Real Madrid. Ashley - your a self centred little tosspot who deserves a lunging Lucas Neill challenge and a bent leg....

One of my mates cant make it to Austria now but has booked is flight. It is available, if anyone wants it. This is for the Coventry to Salzburg flight on the Weds, returning Friday. Anyone taking this ticket would have to pay 25 quid for a name change and the difference in price of the flight now, to what it was at time of booking.
