Missed out on the play offs to the Premier League on goal difference.
What’s the response?
Normal club? One more heave!
Here? Slash the budget and tell the media that the club is happy to just stay out of the third division.
What’s the point of any of this?
Waggot saying that pre-season post renewal it left a real sour taste in the mouth. Then after his candid interview with Glenn I am just left with the feeling that the club is rudderless and us paying fans are of no importance.
it now also looks rudderless on the pitch which just leaves you thinking exactly as you say “what is the point?”
Why pay £400 of our hard earned cash? I don’t intend to renew again come summer and would wager there will be plenty others.

Another dour result and performance but at least we didn’t lose. There was only one team going to win that match if it carried on and it wasn’t rovers. The defending is Sunday league standard and without a different approach we will be in a relegation spot by Feb.
First time I’ve heard boos at ewood for a long while and deservedly so.
-
Good to see Telalovic given another shot after the other night.
Moran should be out for Travis but seems to be a manager favourite. -
I’d settle for some draws and clean sheets as a start. Even as bad as it’s been at home I haven’t heard any mutterings about the manager as yet around me. Just general malaise about the state of the club and whether people can be bothered to renew next season.
We can’t rely on an increasingly downwards away form to keep our heads above water. It’s got to improve starting tomorrow.

I think they would turn, the crowd always turns after horrendous runs, unless your Teflon Tony, of course.
I don’t think they should, by the way, after a good season last time and a decent one this term until a month ago, but he’s never been particularly popular at Ewood, so you go say 2-0 down to Rotherham and he’ll cop it big time.
Decent until a month ago?
We have lost 7 of 12 games at home conceding 21 goals in the process. Only one team has conceded more than us at home in the entire league.
The home form which is what the majority of fans see has been terrible all season.

I really don’t want to go to this one but will. Heart says a win but the head says another defeat.
I just hope JDT tweaks his approach to ensure we at least try for a clean sheet and don’t leave gaping holes for Rotherham to charge into.
-
They did the same with Kaminski, dropped him then sold in summer

A 3 man midfield of Travis, Tronstad and Wharton would be really strong as well as allowing the former 2 to harden up our defence and let Wharton roam about with his killer balls.
But that would involved him changing his suicide system so instead we will flog Travis and further weaken an already poor squad.

"First of all, I have to say that I am so happy we don't have to play Blackburn again this season. They are a credit to Jon. They're an outstanding, young team. I don't want to sound patronising after a win but I thought they were outstanding"
Hull's manager knows.
When you know, you know.
I only ever hear this sort of stuff when we have been beaten, which this season is a lot.

First time I have seen him play last night and thought he did well. Done more than Ennis and Leonard recently so would stick with him for Rotherham.

Lose to Rotherham on Monday and big questions to be asked of JdT. We can’t continually go out trying to out score the opposition, the system has to change to tighten things up at the back.
-
Hyam with a 1 out of 10 tonight
-
I’ve seen better defending at Sunday league games

Bonkers match so far, both sides look crap at the back definitely more goals to come.
Great finish from Pickering
-
The defending from rovers is the worst I’ve seen since the Steve Kean era. We just don’t defend as a team leaving the back four massively exposed on every Hull attack

As shit as the two goals against where in general play we have done ok.

Complete shambles, relegation nailed on
-
Do they do any defending training the whole team looks completely ragged on every Hull attack.
and Woomph there it is. Dogshit rovers
-
I’m willing to give him more time he has barely featured due to injuries/fitness.
Give him a run of games and hopefully gets up and running with some goals.

He’s naive, he has a win or bust mentality, he needs to be cannier with when to rest players, he needs to mix it up especially later in games, he’s not been able to stop a malaise of weakness in the team going back years that means we don’t get back into games once we concede - how about that?
Now you tell me what you like about him.
I like the way at he’s brought on youth, the positive mentality he brings when interviewed (especially compared with the last guy), the players like him and in periods when we have clicked scored some terrific goals. Also took as on some good cup runs last season which had been lacking for a long time.

We were on a good run a few weeks ago, think we won 6 out of 8 or something. Are you saying it's only now, 18 months from joining the club, that other managers have worked JDT out? Or are just on a bad run of form?
Sigh…Our home form is across the whole season, we have the 2nd worst defence in the entire league…is this ‘form’
Try seeing things from another point of view instead of blindly arguing a side.

‘JDT fanboys’ 🙄
He deserves criticism for a run of bad results just like every other manager since the dawn of time - who says differently?
I’ve yet to see you say a bad word about him for a start.
-
The majority of people complaining are well aware of the shambolic running of the club and budget/injury situation.
But putting that aside surely the JdT fan boys can see why he is getting justified grief from fans at this point? That wasn’t far off our best first 11 yesterday and was a total shambles losing to relegation favourites. The home form is abysmal and has seen us lose 7 already. If the away form now starts to drop we are in massive trouble.
The Huddersfield manager said we ‘play high risk high reward football’ after the game. It’s an incredibly naive approach in the championship and we are rightly getting licked now managers have worked it out.
He needs a plan B and to improve his game management. Surely we can agree on that?-

Hyam and Carter/wharton are as good as most centre halfs in the league.
Pickering and Britain/Hill decent fullbacks.
Tronstad and Wharton in the centre probably two of the best in the league. There is no excuse for those 6 being part of the second worst defence in the league other than how they are being asked to play.
I could understand us lacking goals but no excuses at the back.
