😄 mental isn't it. Genuinely feels like an obligation at this point rather than something I look forward to, imagine I will bin it off at the end of the season unless something changes. Can you imagine the state of this squad after another summer window that Rudy and Pasha oversee? A first 11 of Dion De Neves, no thanks. -

Agree, the match going home fans that remain I rarely hear much dissent about the Venkys other than the odd chant when we start losing. We have lost the real dissenters from attending over the years which is fair enough, I will probably join them next season. -

I will go tomorrow as have paid for my season ticket and football is a nice bit of escapism from the daily grind. I don't enjoy it at the moment and haven't really for a few years as our home form has generally been poor under different managers. In particular this season it's been really drab, we look clueless in attack or with the ball and dodgy at the back when under little pressure. I will happily miss the Watford game as per the call to action but missing the rest of the season feels a step too far given iv paid for it. A boycott on season tickets next season is definitely something I would support and I think would have the largest impact in the boardroom. I think we will get beat again tomorrow by a narrow margin. Sometimes I wish we just got thumped at home rather than all these narrow defeats as it just gives Ismael excuses all the time. A 0-4 hammering might force some changes. -

Comedy with Big Mak, the fact Todd says that shows what they think of him day in day out in training. -

Feels like he is finally getting pissed off with Pasha and Rudy and rightly so. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

It would be comforting to know he was under some pressure due to results and performances. However you get no inkling that he is under even the slightest bit from those above. Nobody at the club seems to give two shits about events on or off the field. It feels like fans are starting to feel the same way based on attendance and atmosphere. -

Didn’t even listen or know the score till half an hour ago I’m that disenfranchised at the moment. If we can’t beat the teams around us at the bottom we will go down. Whole setup is league one from board room to boot room. -

Sounds like the role is that dummed down nobody actually wants it. Which means either it stays vacant or we get another no mark like Gestede into the role who has no skills or background in running a football club. -
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cedx6296jylo Looks like something is happening with the pitch based on that story but no idea what?!

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
roverblue replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Regardless of the shite squad and injuries, ultimately the way the manager sets us up means we don't score enough goals. If we don't score goals we won't win games, as on display at Ewood in every game this season and last under his management. Playing a 5 man defence at home against a bottom feeder like Oxford with a holding midfielder is never going to create a raft of chances. Fine when Leicester or Coventry come along but you have to be more attack minded when the expectation is on the home team. -

This squad, boardroom and manager are awful, it deserves league one. -

Decided earlier to watch this from the comfort of my sofa after all the uncertainty. If the club had bothered to communicate earlier in the day or yesterday I might have made the effort to get down. Instead I had already talked myself into a takeaway, cans and watching it on the tv in front of the fire. -

https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/articles/c3w7nw3nylqo Tomorrow night must be in doubt given the amount of rain already down, be a complete shambles if the club call it off an hour beforehand or during again. -

I think the drains beneath the pitch are blocked or broken/compacted as the river level wasn't high enough for it to be an issue and I think the Groundsmen said the same at the Ipswich game. Basically needs digging up and a new drainage/pitch going down. -

Is this season cursed? The worst squad in years with a dud of a manager. Then combined with the absolute worst luck in referees, weather, last minute losers, injuries. It’s all come together in a season to end in relegation. -

Ewood is a rotting corpse, neglected by its owners on the pitch and in the stands. The whole ground is desperate for investment especially the Riverside where I sit. I hope the club is fined for this shambles, Oxford on Tuesday night must be in doubt too. The pack of losers in the boardroom will no doubt have their excuses at the ready. Wtf were these things supposed to do… -

The last 10 mins should have been replayed, no justification for 90. -
How on earth do wages keep going up with the culling that goes on at Ewood? Something stinks as usual

Thought that was our best home performance of the season and we dominated the game. Unbelievable to not come away with 3 points. Ref was atrocious along with assistants, the standard seems to get worse each season and you could feel them trying to give Ipswich the benefit on every occasion. Ismael should stop making subs they just make the team weaker. Gueye spent the entire time trotting about and smiling like he had won a competition to play at Ewood. Never seen anything like it. It seemed almost a premeditated low effort performance from him. As for Baradji, Tavares and De Neve they look abysmal and offered nothing positive compared with who they replaced. -

This feels like a guaranteed loss after we had them well beat at Ewood months back and down to 10 men with 10mins left. I said I wouldn't go on principle but have been promised a pie and pint so against my better judgment will attend. -
I couldn’t pay a friend to come and watch the shite served up at Ewood on a dark, cold and wet Tuesday night. The club need to understand until the entertainment increases at Ewood you’re only going to get season ticket holders. They would have been better doing it for free and selling some pies and beer alongside a better attendance.
