  1. It’s like he sets us up to park the bus but we still concede loads of soft goals. No ambition going forwards whatsoever from Ismael been the same since he came in. Look clueless with the ball.
  2. Really cba with this one it’s freezing and it’s got loss written all over it. Can anyone put forward a convincing argument to attend?
  3. We somehow seem worse with him in the team lately which is bizarre. The whole formation wants binning for me. It might suit scrappy away wins but at home it’s failed time and time again. What’s the point in having 5 defenders if we concede 2 at home in the first half? It doesn’t suit players like Cantwell and creates us very little chances. Lack of movement in front of him or runners from midfield give him no options to thread onto.
  4. Abysmal performance and to think I missed a family lunch to watch that pathetic performance in the cold. That first half was the worse I’ve seen us in a long time, pathetic. There is nothing redeemable about the team, manager or board room. I don’t think I have ever disliked the club as much as I do currently. Stands were silent and those attending seem to have given up and feel helpless to change anything. The only positive thing is the young lads coming into the team who look miles better than the ‘senior’ pros they are replacing.
  5. 0-2 down at home with a 5 man defence and two sitting midfielders. Just leaves it hoping we somehow get back in the game. They guy is tactically inept and a large reason why we score so little goals.
  6. Happy New Year! Let’s get off with a big win over these, should have beaten them the other week.
  7. I was fairly reliably informed that Balaji’s son regularly attended games and was viewed as the future ‘boss’. Sits in the mirror glass box above the tunnel. This was last season so might have changed since.
  8. My wager…First incoming on 30th Jan - on loan, with no prior football league experience but ‘highly rated’. In the meanwhile we sell Geuye, Pickering, Ribeiro, Tronstad and De Neve
  9. Desperate for firepower and another who can dribble and make things happen. Imagine it will be dependant on sales first and then loans of people we have never heard of who turn out to be shit.
  10. Toothless performance, thought we might lose towards the end. Dont rate Ismael but when you see the state of the squad and bench not sure he is too blame for that one.
  11. Great unexpected win. Thought the game was poor with very little quality but for once we took our chances and kept a clean sheet. Yuki worked his socks off today, think he has become my favourite rovers player on this current side.
  12. 😄 mental isn't it. Genuinely feels like an obligation at this point rather than something I look forward to, imagine I will bin it off at the end of the season unless something changes. Can you imagine the state of this squad after another summer window that Rudy and Pasha oversee? A first 11 of Dion De Neves, no thanks.
  13. Agree, the match going home fans that remain I rarely hear much dissent about the Venkys other than the odd chant when we start losing. We have lost the real dissenters from attending over the years which is fair enough, I will probably join them next season.
  14. I will go tomorrow as have paid for my season ticket and football is a nice bit of escapism from the daily grind. I don't enjoy it at the moment and haven't really for a few years as our home form has generally been poor under different managers. In particular this season it's been really drab, we look clueless in attack or with the ball and dodgy at the back when under little pressure. I will happily miss the Watford game as per the call to action but missing the rest of the season feels a step too far given iv paid for it. A boycott on season tickets next season is definitely something I would support and I think would have the largest impact in the boardroom. I think we will get beat again tomorrow by a narrow margin. Sometimes I wish we just got thumped at home rather than all these narrow defeats as it just gives Ismael excuses all the time. A 0-4 hammering might force some changes.
  15. Comedy with Big Mak, the fact Todd says that shows what they think of him day in day out in training.
  16. Feels like he is finally getting pissed off with Pasha and Rudy and rightly so.
  17. It would be comforting to know he was under some pressure due to results and performances. However you get no inkling that he is under even the slightest bit from those above. Nobody at the club seems to give two shits about events on or off the field. It feels like fans are starting to feel the same way based on attendance and atmosphere.
  18. Didn’t even listen or know the score till half an hour ago I’m that disenfranchised at the moment. If we can’t beat the teams around us at the bottom we will go down. Whole setup is league one from board room to boot room.
  19. Sounds like the role is that dummed down nobody actually wants it. Which means either it stays vacant or we get another no mark like Gestede into the role who has no skills or background in running a football club.
  20. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cedx6296jylo Looks like something is happening with the pitch based on that story but no idea what?!
  21. Regardless of the shite squad and injuries, ultimately the way the manager sets us up means we don't score enough goals. If we don't score goals we won't win games, as on display at Ewood in every game this season and last under his management. Playing a 5 man defence at home against a bottom feeder like Oxford with a holding midfielder is never going to create a raft of chances. Fine when Leicester or Coventry come along but you have to be more attack minded when the expectation is on the home team.
  22. This squad, boardroom and manager are awful, it deserves league one.
  23. A real thriller tonight! Look more likely to get a goal but look poor with the ball
  24. Decided earlier to watch this from the comfort of my sofa after all the uncertainty. If the club had bothered to communicate earlier in the day or yesterday I might have made the effort to get down. Instead I had already talked myself into a takeaway, cans and watching it on the tv in front of the fire.
