You could see them squirm when asked about Ismael and his performance so far, quickly went from we are 5pts off the playoffs to the season is a write off. He needs time to implement his style, squad don't match his philosophy, injuries been bad, forms been terrible for 20 games... Yet there faces had the looks of people who knew they have appointed a dud.

I hope Rudy and the team can find 5 players for a total outlay of a bag of haribo and a fizzy pop. Also given we have 12-13 leaving its not even half of what we need. Total BS to try and flog some season tickets.

Ismael looks a clown there has been a massive downgrade in both attack and defence since he came in. It looks aimless and I don’t know how we expect to score any goals playing like this

I genuinely don’t think they care about season tickets or fans in the ground. The fewer they sell the less staff and admin it all takes, police costs etc. Maybe they can even close some more stands and save a few quid there. The riverside where I sit is a shambles falling apart and massively understaffed to cater for anyone wanting a pie or pint at half time. Noticed they stuffed those in the Blackburn end as well with a price increase knowing full well it’s the most popular area. This is what Waggot does, take advantage of your loyalty and milk you for every penny he can. Nothing they do suggests they care about the fans or the team, only about saving a few quid. It’s only a matter of time till there is nothing left on the pitch or the stands with the lack of investment.

I suspect you are correct on this. It’s been 6 months or more since any sales. Whatever instalments they have or will still get for Wharton or Szmodic are already gone on operating costs. Venkys used to put £20m a season into the club but haven’t done a penny in 18 months so funds will probably be running out now. They will have had to find £30m which is about what those two combined brought in plus a ticket and tv money.

I expect a summer of loans and free transfers all done very late before the first game like last season to save paying wages in pre-season. Due to the extraordinary numbers we need due to contracts ending and loans returning I expect our bench to be almost all academy players as well. Welcome to the shit show.

I felt pressured into renewing the early bird last season with the false assumption of investment and rebuild after the Wharton and inevitable Szmodic sale. Wont be falling for that trick again! Next season is the perfect storm due to our abysmal executives, ownership and their ‘investment’ over the last few years. No more wonder kids to sell. No more top players to sell. Half a squad due to leave in summer due to contracts ending or loans returning. The remaining half have mostly 12 months or less on their deals so could be sold or leave for free. A manager who looks completely clueless and wants to play a style of football that needs talent and money. Still not a penny sent from Venky’s into the club now in 18 months. It’s going to be dogshit on a level never seen before and I want no part in it.

If this guy loses every game until the end of the season does anybody think they would sack him? It’s a miracle we haven’t gone down this season. Complete shite squad and now a manager who doesn’t seem to be able to get anything out of it

Rovers need a win tonight but this guy especially does. We have looked really poor since he has come in, the intensity of play has become very passive and our basic defending gone to pot. He fluffed it on Saturday against bottom of the league and Stoke aren't much further up.

I renewed last season based on the pressure of the early bird offer and the fact we were going to build a squad with the Wharton/Raya/Szmodic cash. Instead we got shafted, I wrote to the club before the season started for a refund but they were having none of it. I was 100% on relegation this season with the squad we have, it's a miracle we aren't down there and that's thanks to Eustace. I won't be going next year and imagine plenty others in the same boat, until some serious investment is made in the team or we get new owners. The way I see it now as every penny I give the club is just giving the Venkys more of a reason to stick around and/or not invest anything. The squad will be grim next season after more contracts end and we accept bids for anyone still worth anything (Travis, Brittain etc.)

I think we will drop down the league, we have been poor for a couple of months other than the odd game. We seem to have lost our defensive solidity and robustness in that time under Eustace and now Ismael. Also not been impressed by the start under Ismael, seem to have dropped off the intensity for some reason when I thought it would go the other way.

Shambolic and we looked complete shite with the ball. Majorly unimpressed with Ismael we have regressed massively in matter of weeks
