  1. At least with Britain suspended JDT can’t play him up front anymore. Given our home form and Watford’s result last Saturday we will get beat. But it’s the hope that makes us fans keep coming so let’s hope we get an early Christmas present and the first convincing win of the season. Be nice to do it in front of a big crowd and maybe entice some people back again too.
  2. I don’t think anyone is saying the manager should go are they? Just fans pointing out continued deficiencies in the hope he starts to learn and change. I’ve watched us lose at home to Preston, Sunderland, Hull and Swansea this season already. These aren’t mega bank rolled parachute money clubs.
  3. Just watched the highlights and the defending looked poor on all 4 goals. Sounds like we were well beaten from reading the comments let’s hope they rest up and we get a performance next weekend.
  4. They need to go back to having one cheap area of the ground which is traditionally the Riverside. It went from 299 to 399 in covid under the guise we would be moved to other lower tier areas if needed but never happened. Then they just kept the price at 399. The stand is falling apart, it’s almost impossible to get a beverage due to the understaffing and the toilets are like going in a freezer with posters advertising Cheltenham races in 2020. If they don’t improve my match experience or reduce the prices I won’t be renewing next season after 30 years of attending.
  5. If our home form was better we would have got plenty more on last night and you’re kidding yourself if you think otherwise. The performances and results have been dire. I think JDT is ok, Mowbray got pelters for similar results. I’ve seen words like ‘sensational’ and ‘miracles’ on here to describe JDT. League wise I think we are about where we should be based on our squad. I am just not enjoying going to Ewood at the moment but hopefully it picks up once we get some of the walking wounded back.
  6. Similar feeling, never really been won over since he came. The guy has some sensational PR team the way he is talked about and the links to jobs in the media. It’s good to have an identity but we don’t have the budget or players for it. I’ve lost count of the goals we have kicked in our own net like last night from trying it. When we go behind we stay behind and rarely make any subs till it’s too late. I only attend home games but it’s been turd since he came in at Ewood. There was probably 7-8k on last night which gives you an idea of how exciting it feels to come down at the moment.
  7. As others have said we played crap but got the win. The Siggy goal was probably the only bit of class all night from either side. Probably the fact it’s a Tuesday night and our home form has been poor but was really quiet on the ground tonight in terms of numbers and atmosphere. Looked a lot more balanced team tonight with everyone in their proper positions. A few stinking performances from Moran and Leonard, but good ones from Tronstad, Whalstedt and Siggy.
  8. Do they still count season ticket holders even if they don’t show? Place looked empty tonight and loads of regulars near me didn’t show up
  9. Finally a proper starting 11 with people in their natural positions! cmon you blues!! not many here 😂
  10. Same as always, the front three are fluid in this system and play across the line from what I have seen at home games.
  11. I want to be positive so let’s go for a 1-1 draw. Get Ennis and Telalovic on for Britain and Leonard and let’s actually get to see them play a game. They can’t do any worse than them two after yesterday
  12. Winter is here and he wants his customary time off for Xmas 😂
  13. Playing a full back at home as one of your attacking front 3 whilst you have two strikers and an Iceland international winger on the bench is just stupid. We then play a centre half at right back because the right back is playing up front?!? Just play a proper team and give the opposition defence something to think about. We signed two strikers in the summer so give them some game time and chance to get match fit.
  14. This season is sapping the enjoyment out of me as a season ticket holder. As well as losing most games the football on offer has been largely turgid where we have no attacking threat and concede soft goals. Passing the football nicely from goalkeeper to the opposite corner flag and back again isn’t something I find entertaining. For fans who go to away games they probably have a better view of JDT but I don’t get the hype.
  15. Lost 6 of 10 at home this season. Hoping for a result against Bristol on Tuesday night and a change of fortunes. Give Ennis a start please I’m sick of seeing a team of midfielders pissing about with it near the box.
  16. Abysmal first half we barely touched the ball other than to give it back to Leeds. Mistake after mistake including some laughable brain malfunction by Whalstedt dribbling out his area. Better second half, just no striker or killer instinct. Could have shot so many times but just worked it back into midfield or passed it on like a hot potato as per usual. Royally fed up this season as a ticket holder feel like all I have seen is the team lose and play crap.
  17. Thanks Glen for putting the notes out from the meeting, it's a depressing read. It's a pity that it doesnt get more widely reported on by the LET as there is some real eye openers in there for us fans. I feel taken advantage of as a season ticket holder after reading the responses. If the club has zero ambition why should I be forking out £400 to basically watch the u21s develop for the next few seasons. It is obvious with the Venkys financial issues there is no plan and we are on the road to nowhere despite being a few players short of maybe getting into the playoffs.
  18. This has got a spanking written all over it, our home form has been poor all season and Leeds have some serious firepower. 1-4 spanking to spoil my weekend.
  19. Only seen the result but typical rovers to do a shit team a favour when we have been doing so well
  20. We have to be looking for a comprehensive win given our away form and their overall form, going for a 0-3 rovers win. On the flip side historically these are the sort of games where we slip up and lose.
  21. Wednesday night was his best performance of the season for me. Got it right 9 times out of 10 and set up a wonderful goal. Still got work to do to contribute more defensively but a real gem of a player.
  22. Yeah I agree in some respects, but we still had a bench full last night and JDT actively chooses not to use it unless forced to. Garrett showed the impact a sub can make on Saturday yet no minutes last night when it was crying out for some fresh legs. Hopefully when we get a load back from injury he starts to have more faith in the subs because its a weakness of ours at the moment with the drop in performance/conceding late goals. I also think recruitment wise we need to diversify the type of players we have, its a bench full of the same players. Sometimes you just need a hammer instead of a bench full of screwdrivers!
  23. My fingers were too frozen to type last night, enjoyed the result and see us rise up the table. I thought performance wise we looked good for about 30mins and awful for 60mins. The parts we looked good in were fantastic and Birmingham had no answer with 3 quick goals, also should have had another 2-3 in the opening 10-15 mins. The Dolan injury was the catalyst for the first half crumble, then in the 2nd half after we scored the third the lads heads went thinking it was over and Brum dominated the remainder of the game. Birmingham also showed how to use a subs bench and change the game, something JDT needs to learn about. How Garrett didnt get on for the last 20mins after Saturdays showing whilst our players flagged is beyond me. Sammy with another great performance and Carter and Hill kept the strikers quiet. We got murdered at our right back by Dembele what a player he could have been for us if Mowbray had got his way.
  24. Hardest worker, top goalscorer and I think future captain. Assuming its more a financial reward for him as opposed to getting more years though as he only signed last summer?
