  1. Would there be any legs in engaging other supporter bases who are / have gone through similar owner issues?

Blackpool, Charlton, Reading, Pompey, Coventry even Liverpool fans to form some form of solidarity statement or actions? Getting a huge supporter base to make a bit of noise such as Liverpool fans would attract a lot of interest I would imagine

  2. I listened to only a few minutes of the interview on Rovers TV and turned it off. It made my skin crawl.

I'm glad Bayes pushed a little harder on some points. Surely now, if anyone would ever be serious about owning Rovers, this is the moment. They Rao's are under pressure, they're on the back foot and the 3 stooges have basically admitted they would be open to offers. It would be VERY easy to get the fans on board and with their assistance change can happen.

  3. Glad my mind was made up before the latest fraud that is these season ticket prices.

It's utterly embarrassing that we aimed for only 4,400 adult season tickets last season. A club local to me, Marine, who are in the 6th tier have 1,000.

Our club is a fucking mess from top to bottom

  4. I didn't get one this year and in all honesty I haven't missed it. I've done 3 match tickets thus far and that's all.

I already had a multi-year hiatus about 10 years ago but really got the bug back the last couple of Mowbray years, but really I CBA anymore.

Same as @Polky I'll buy IMMEDIATELY at genuinely whatever the price (obvs I mean within reason not like £1k+) once the shysters have done one.

  5. Embarrassing, really.

Sadly the ref got it right to overturn the pen as it was Gueye who handled the ball.

This club is finished until the Rao family leave, and sadly I think I might be too. Emotionally it's almost too much to take now. I'm about to tick 40 and can't believe we have been in this spiral since my mid-twenties.

The rot has properly set in, and we rolled the dice with JDT and Eustace and got a pair of 6s but Ismael is another Coyle. We are cooked this season and next.

    Define 'in a mess'.

Granted it's been about 15 years since I visited Brockhall, but it was certainly a good Premier League facility then.

He said it's clear it needs a lot of investment and is in a bad state.

I spoke to a former physio a couple of years agol and he told me similar and that we basically do just the very bare minimum to keep the Cat 1 status in respect of available facilities

  7. I think it'll be Carsley. Wouldn't be my choice but I think Waggott will be dreaming his pants at "ex-England boss" taking over at Rovers.

I can't myself see it working at all but if we can get even any kind of bounce then we will likely get in the playoffs.

Id personally go all in on Allardyce until the summer

  8. Not read much of this thread, but if Rovers have said they "expect an approach" from Derby then he is as good as gone. I imagine Eustace has told them that's what's going on so it'll be down to cash now.

We might luck out on another appointment and we stay in the playoffs but honestly this is really fucking boring now isn't it. Can't keep any decent players, can't sign any and can't keep good managers happy. Nearing the end of even giving a shit now.

  9. I think its more a case of Travis "rallying the troops".

Would be unwise of him to come out and be like "This group of players as it stands aren't good enough. We really need some help to reach the playoffs".

When we are back to full strength its more than feasible to think we can go a good stretch of games again without defeat and back-to-back wins...just that it will likely be we won't ever have our preffered XI on the pitch all at once and even some of those need improvement.

I genuinely think we need better reinforcements with pace and players prepared to be direct than an out-and-out goalscorer. Gueye is proving to be good foil now he's got up to speed but we do need some more direct wing play to chip-in with substantial goal numbers and assist....although of course both would be nice and indeed if we had SS this season we would be well embedded and an almost shoe-in for the playoffs (did I just massively contradict myself!? 😂)

  10. My Mrs is (very sadly) a staunch Liverpool fan so recently watched him in the cup vs. Southampton and I thought he did very well and even finished the game at right back and still did well.

He still is, however, VERY lightweight. Needs a few good chippy dinners. Definitely not up to being in a midfield two due to this, although if we had a formation change and he was part of 3 with Travis and Tronstad he could very much dictate a game
