As long as in top 6 after 46 games that's all matters. Ask Swansea that one.

Cardiff wasn't in the top 6 until game 39.

Forest spent the majority of the season in top 6 and after 46 games wasn't in top 6 when it matters..

And we haven't been in the top 6 at any point since being in this division, never mind when it matters. Unless you count an hour there at Brentford away last season

Meeting with players is not an indication or confirmation that there is a budget. Free agent wages are paid out of current wages.

In previous transfer windows, Mowbray has said  'we don't need to sell'. This year , it's 'he doesn't want to sell. After the new club financial year, Venkys have in the past said they'll continue to pay the wages. They've not said that this year.

The £10m bid is probably from Sheff Utd for Lenihan. They've bid that last two summers. if they'd made it £10m plus O'Connell, I'd be tempted.

We'd not get Whiteman for £1m. Doncaster rejected a 7 figure bid for him last summer. Perhaps you'd know why he was unimpressed with Mowbray, assuming the meeting actually took place?

£10m for lenihan, and O’Connell? Deary me ??

Thats where we differ then Matty, I like watching footballers play football, its been great watching Nyambe progress after everyone wrote the lad off, Tosin is absolute quality, sometimes worth the admission fee alone.

As for the football we play, well thats like the vast majority of the sides in the league at our level, you cut your cloth accordingly.

Who wrote Nyambe off? Mowbray's the one who seems to have written him off for large parts of the season. Most fans want Nyambe playing instead of Mowbray's pet

  4. Think Travis fully deserves it. Probably been our most consistent player at a young age, and hasn't had a settled pairing in the middle all season. Arma would be a very close second but think he goes missing a little too much, obviously his wonder goals have been brilliant though. Just think even when we're playing badly, which has happened a lot this season, Travis has been the only positive in a lot of games

    delighted for Wycombe and Ainsworth

I don't know why. Wycombe should accept being a lower league club rather than get promoted, just like Burnley should forfeit playing in Europe and Norwich getting promoted to the Prem. After all, there's no point in having any ambition according to yourself.

Better in terms of overall play, but playing this weird formation I don't think we look as if we could score if we played until this time next week.

The two Rovers commentators seem to think we're playing like Liverpool.

To be fair they said we played ‘decent’ against Wigan so I wouldn’t listen to them

There are a couple of other admittedly smaller issues here that I will be asking the club about that can't be exchanged for a password to stream matches online.

I bought a programme subscription at the start of the season, so I'd like to know if I will be getting money back on that.

In addition, the terms and conditions of a season ticket clearly state that it also entitles fans to access to all home u23 matches, and I would go to them all work permitting.

So I'd also like to know what will be happening there as there's been no mention of u23 games resuming and probably no prospect of online viewing.

Much smaller issues agreed but I dont think it is reasonable for the club just to ignore it and hope nothing happens.

They'll probably offer you a PDF version and say its worth £90

It can , the government will keep paying the furlough etc....football should restart new season fresh in August

And what’s going to have changed by August? There’ll be no vaccine and social distancing will still be in place. So what’s the difference between it starting now or August?

As funny as it’d be seeing Liverpool and Leeds not win the league / go up, you can’t prioritise a new season for one that’s near completion
