as much as a lot of fans rate buckley,im`e not one of them,i think he needs a few months in the lower leagues to toughen up,putting him in against a seasoned side like forest is asking to much and i think he`ll fade away to be replaced after an hour

If he were in that sort of bracket he wouldn't be on loan to us.
There's going to be an awful lot of unhappy players in Mowbray's squad. As someone has pointed out, Mowbray can only pick 11.
On the other hand, the bran tub of Tony's Tombola has just got even deeper.
Stand by for more chopping and changing and different tactics every week to try and keep the camp happy.
Jesus Christ, are you being negative to play devils advocate? If we’d signed nobody you’d be complaining that we have too small of a squad

Here comes Assombolonga, Freeman etc gate. Spend the rest of the day being linked to brilliant players, but we 'ran out of time'

Yes I do watch Sports plus films, tv shows and politics.
Picture quality on Sky coverage of sport is miles better than Ifollow. Ifollow time delay is another problem
If you happy with Ifollow quality then fair enough but I ain't. So I will leave it there.
Think you need better internet if your picture quality is bad for ifollow. How is a 30 second max delay a problem if your team are playing? Sky Sports has a time delay compared to watching it live in a ground

I haven't been argumentative. Please show me anything argumentative I've said?
Me not agreeing with you doesn't mean I'M being argumentative, it means WE disagree.
I think its the caps mate, comes across as argumentative/patronising

‘6 of the top 9 clubs can veto a takeover of another club’. Disgusting.

Can Ancelotti nip in to Brockhall and work his magic on Gallager that he's done on Calvert-Lewin? Similar attributes, absolutely no reason why Gallagher can't put himself about like Calvert-Lewin does

100 percent. We are well stocked in midfield. And the likes of a holding player like Evans frees Rothwell to surge forward. Whiteman is a box to box player from what I've seen.
Manning though would've been good as he can cover both positions.
And I'm sure the world class JRC can fill in there

I'm not defending Venky's one bit, but don't think they can be given stick for not buying another club, they're losing enough money on this one. Would rather not run the risk of dodgy agents sticking their noses in again.
I do agree, they definitely could've found other ways to get around FFP, but like you say they're not interested enough.

If only we could be so creative. Good player
What do you want us to do, buy another club by the end of the window so we can loan ourselves a player?

Of course Corry has been called up for the NI squad, but isn't fit enough to play for us

Strange how you are suddenly anti-Dack. Look at his goal scoring record and tell me he shouldnt be in the starting eleven.
The crazy thing is Chaddy was adamant we'd have made the playoffs if Dack was available for the rest of last season

Can't get my head round the stick Jordan gets and got, the lad was a shining light in what was a dismal 3 or 4 years. Plenty more things to complain about back then than a striker with a 1 in 2 goal record.
The idea we'd have got promoted without him and King up top instead is the same fantasy that we'd have been promoted if Dack didn't get injured last season. Which the same people are now saying Dack doesn't get into our team.

Think the issue with Buckley is he has undeniable talent, its just figuring out exactly where to play him. Doesn't have the pace for the wings or the defensive nous, so maybe in more of a free role as part of the 3 in midfield. Issue then is where do you play Dack or Rothwell. Good problem to have at least

Brereton has worked his socks off and would be my mom, which seems odd as Arna has scored two and Dolan has been immense!

Funnily (or not funnily), 2 of Manning's assists came against us in the same game last season

Mowbray surprises 'everybody' and brings Evans in for the injured Johnson and keeps the same team.
Wonder if Armstrong is going to score a few own goals tonight to sabotage the team like he did on Saturday by waiting till Holtby was offside?

I don't hate completely hate it, but the frustrating thing is that if they just left it to be red with blue trim it would've looked great.
Fortunately the home one is the best one in a while.
If people are saying this kit lacked effort then surely leaving it just plain red would = zero effort?

Charlie Mulgrews wages/pay off will eat up a big proportion of season ticket money let alone the money on a price increase. Who answers for giving him a 3 year deal on big bucks and part way through decides he's not good enough? That is gambling on the future of our club.
Exactly, or the extra months contract for Smallwood et al. But of course it’s us who has to pay extra to ‘fund new signings’. Our season ticket money barely touches the surface of our debt

The guilt trip is already in full effect on twitter. Apparently you don’t want a club to support if you aren’t happy with price increases when there’s no guarantee of even being able to go to games

But many clubs are in the same boat tho as us like Middlesbrough,
Also the window is open to 16th October. We have 1st choice keeper in. hopefully we will have a couple more in by the Bournemouth in.
Bids are in for players from what we know from local journalists and People on here who have good contacts within the club
That’s alright then if boro haven’t made signings either

Hahahaha 'talk of another being worked on right now'. You mean on a fans forum Nixon? The man hasn't had a source at Rovers since his mate Coyle was fired.
I got blocked from Nixon the other day for saying 'F*** off Coyle', in response to some article he wrote about him. Joker

Travis? I think not he is not as aggressive moving forwards as he was. Mowbary there.
Disagree with that really, Trav originally was playing in front of the back line, and now he’s playing on the right of a 3. Seems to be spending way more time in the opposite half these days

Exactly what I’ve been thinking, shows how interesting this half has been ?
