Why don’t we play 3 at the back ie.
Lenihan Ayala Wharton
Nyambe Douglas/Bell
Johnson. Holtby Rothwell
Elliott. Armstrong
Because it’s never worked

If our support ever got so bad I'd have to consider wether I want to support a club with fans like that.
Our support definitely has its fair share of wrongens, but fortunately this site doesn’t have any of that nonsense. The Facebook groups on the other hand..

Anyone else think this 'minor' injury to Douglas will actually keep him out for much longer than the weekend?

Death, taxes and Adam Armstrong scoring goals

No chance, he will need to do more and for much longer to justify that level of fee. More goals especially.
Thats not downplaying how much of a different player he appears to be or a criticism of him, but hes not worth 7m at the moment,
If someone offered 7m for him in January, I doubt we would turn it down.
I genuinely think we would. Think the whole point of the signing was to develop him and sell on for a bigger fee, don't think we'd sell him now he's starting to show his ability.

I edited my original post. Pearson played twenty minutes on Saturday.
Bollocks, that's very unwelcome news ?

I think Pearson is out for them and he provides a lot of that bite for them. Also Browne was missing on Saturday which I read was Covid related.
That's very welcome news

Think we're gonna miss Johnson and Trav massively for this one, only players with a bit of bite that is massively needed against this lot

I get we should take nothing for granted in this league, but if we can’t go into this game expecting a win then that says a lot for our aspirations this season. Get the job done boys

Both signed as free agents. Henley been training with Chorley for a few weeks
Makes sense, swore I saw Henley on a jog around Chorley not so long ago

Growing up in Higher Walton I know a lot more of these lot than dingles. Last seasons loss in particular was a horrible one to take. About time we did one over on this lot, hope we've saved one of our batterings for them, but I'd take a scruffy 0-1 right now

Or maybe Tony should have read this board. I was telling him Ayala was an old crock.....everyone on here bar one or two were proper laying into me....
"He's 29 , not 30!!" they said....
Things go against you when your transfer policy is based on old pals act and lack of contacts in the real football world.
If Tony was listening to you he'd have got rid of Dack and brought in Duncan Watmore to replace him

I think the ‘illegal streams’ thing is a bit of a red herring tbh. I can’t imagine there’s much demand for Rovers matches illegally!
Due to job uncertainty, I’ve not bought a season ticket this time around and just bought streams game by game. It’s been alright so far, but it’s no substitute for the real thing, obviously!
I'd disagree, only have to look at some facebook pages for people begging for streams on matchday, or that bloke who is actually selling his streams to fans and sometimes doesn't even post a link

Ayala out again for Saturday. Jeez, we look to have lucked out there with him don’t we. Can’t say the Boro fans didn’t warn us, but I believe it was ‘ankles’ they kept highlighting.
Very worrying is that he was given the 'he'll miss one game' treatment, yet hasn't played for a long time now.

I have read the article.
The balance is not represented by the reaction in the posts.
Ah here comes captain contradiction. If you think our CEO should be actively touting Armstrong's value in the local paper 2 days before a game and just before a transfer window then more fool you

Fake/citezenship/ passports - Formica, a recipe in Italy.
Hidden work permits in drawers at Ewood - Shaw/Agnew - leaving rovers with a decimated medical team - whilst they played King of the castle.
Kean's contract written by himself, with ludicrous bonus and a hefty personal loan off rovers for himself
Kentaro massive business associate in Venkys pharmaceutical business (this has always bugged me, that relationship of the people who were in Kentaro continues) Yet its still laid out they were naive. Anderson a snake and well out of the picture, but he was never the pied piper, he was just allowed to be one of many lunatics in the asylum. It goes much deeper than him and not on these shores.
Why did they get away with it and there will be no retribution? Simple Kentaro were one of the FA's biggest Financial partner/sponsor, with their support massive with our own national team. 95% of gagging orders were issued by our own FA as they knew this was much bigger than Blackburn rovers, and would have had lasting damaging implications to the administration who govern our english game.
Regardless of the current climate, £100 million plus later spent, the day they darkened our door, was the day the heart was ripped out of the club. Whatever the future holds, the club will never have that beating heart of being the pillar of our community as long as they own this club. Many say we should forgive, be grateful, we would be no more without them etc. I'D RATHER PUT PINS IN MY EYES
Brilliant post Glen

What in the blue fuck are you going on about?
Isn't it obvious? Dack can't enjoy a fish and chips because David Beckham might enjoy one and he played for United!!?

Correct. By Armstrong has performed and scores 12 goals this season already.
For me, we bring Dack slowly into the team and use him from bench for a few games. Anything from Dack in the remaining 2020 games is a bonus considering the couple of setbacks he had
Christ, obviously Dack is gonna be reintroduced slowly till he's fully fit, but as soon as he is he'll be starting. Let people be excited by the return of our best player. Wasn't too long ago we were struggling to score against Forest, Cardiff, Swansea etc, Dack will be the first name on the teamsheet when he's fit.
