  1. Which he can't, which is why he plays for us and not Arsenal. Neill is the better player, simple as that.
  2. I think a lot of people are thinking that those who are saying it was a penalty are saying that Tugay meant to trip him, but we aren't. I don't think anyone would argue that it was intentional, which is why it certainly wasn't a red, but he tripped him all the same so it had to be a penatly, no disputing that in my opinion.
  3. Regular first team football for a team in UEFA Cup. Back to an area of the world that he knows, likes Hughes, I don't know, but we are just a good a side as any that have been linked with him.
  4. The player knocked it past Tugay and caught his trailing foot, Tugay didn't mean it but there was contact and it was a penalty, we would have been screaming for it at the other end, never a sending off though. As for Zokora (I think it was) who went down, yes it was him making a meal of it, but didn't exactly change the game. I also think the Spurs sending off was harsh, though I wouldn't mind seeing it again. I've watched the replay tons of times and wasn't sure, I can't see how we can expect the officials to be. Would have loved to have had it, but if he hadn't made a mistake for us then I wouldn't have complained about it too much, though we are owed a bit of luck.
  5. Great goal, it was a penalty, not a red card, not sure about the Mido handball so the ref was right not to give it. If we had played like we did with 10 men for the entire game then we would have walked it. Much improved though still not creating enough chances, but still better. Can't fault any of the players today.
  6. That is possibly one of the wierdest things I have ever listened to.
  7. Well never managed to sell either and have found that in both 2006 and 2007 MGP is great. I've never had him play a season with an average rating below 7.25 and he'll generally chip in with 5+ goals.
  8. I would never sell MGP and I have no idea how you got 2 million for Jeffers and Roberts.
  9. His subdued season with Norwich is still better than anything Gallagher has shown.
  10. He left me on a free, went to Inter Milan.
  11. Bentley has a lot more talent and has previously shown himself to be up to it.
  12. Nice preview. I simply can't see where our next win is coming from and I find this all very depressing. 3-0 Spurs.
  13. I may now be in the minority, but I hope that we don't go in for Dunn. He is simply too injury prone and would just join Reid on the physio's table as soon as he signed, what a midfield pairing that would be...
  14. Roberts has been crap for me. He has scored 2 goals in 2 1/2 seasons (not that he gets many starts) and no one wants to buy him.
  15. I play online on the 360.
  16. I would presume that what he means is that he would only sell if a big offer came in, if not then he would let Neill sit out his contract. If so, then I agree with him.
  17. So the guy has not been that impressive during loan spells and previous chances he has in the first team and has done alright, certainly no more, as a substitute this year, but for some reason you want to put him in now? He's no central midfielder, that's for sure, and he certainly doesn't deserve a place ahead of either MGP or Bentley, he's also shown himself to not really be a striker in the past. I don't see a point in changing things for changes sake, we have injuries and we'll have to wait until those players are back or change the formation.
  18. We're not going to get all of them right RTM, every team lets players go that they shouldn't every now and then. Who are these other players that deserve a chance? Do you really want them to get a chance against Manchester United when we can't win any games? Do you think it would be good of them to have a go and not be up to it at this point? Do you really think you are a better judge than Hughes and the rest of the coaching staff when it comes to players you haven't even seen and can't name?
  19. I think he is, at least it said 5 yellows when he was booked yesterday.
  20. I don't think keepers are supposed to be sent off when they slide out with the ball, especially not in conditions like that. I was slightly surprised that he wasn't booked, but there was no way that he should have been sent off.
  21. I have no complaints about Neill recently. He has certainly been no worse than anyone else and given that he has had to change position and play while injured I don't think he has done badly at all. It it weren't for the fact he hasn't signed a new contract I don't think anyone would be being critical of him.
  22. By the way, I thought that both Nonda and Benni looked good, but they had no service and they'll never score goals without it.
  23. Maybe he should teach his team how to defend corners, that would probably help Luton out a lot more than complaining about the sex of the officials. Moron.
  24. Not well said and I don't want to be branded as part of the pc "problem" by saying this, but his reaction was childish and offensive to women, he should be ashamed and should release an apology. Whether or not the official had made a mistake doesn't justify saying that women have no part in football. We as Blackburn fans know that a good number of mistakes are made by male officials. Sad to see someone who had been carving a good name for himself as a manager make such a fool of himself.
