Maybe they felt that season ticket holders would help to spread the concept through word of mouth.
-
I'm not in a position to be a season ticket holder.
-
It does actually say in the article that has been posted that Crook has denied this.
-
My only fear is that as a non season ticket holder I might not even get the chance to go on an away trip, which would be a bit of a shame.
-
By the way, is it just me or is Brown tiny?
-
I'm still against video evidence, just because I think it could slow the game down and it would be difficult to know when to use it and when not to. Something I think that is more realistic and could have much more of an impact would be reviewing games afterwards and punishing obvious cheating.

He said in an interview that he faced a penalty from Todorov (I think that's who took it) last year and he thought he'd go the same way.
-
Groin strain, as a precaution.
-
haha fife, I am generally of the same view, but the past few games I have predicted wins, so I have to keep it going.

--> QUOTE(Ste B @ Oct 1 2006, 03:19 ) 448923[/snapback] Whooo Hooo.. how about making a home game. I try and I also make it to away games that are certainly less fashionable then UEFA cup ties in Amsterdam or Paris. However, I would love to be able to watch my team in Europe and limited finances and time would mean that those trips would not only be great fun but would be relatively easy to get to and affordable. Sounds like a tough life prestonblue!

I'm sure that he will get a new deal if Hughes thinks that he deserves it, I would presume that is how it works. However, the fact that Sheringham or Speed can play to a ripe old age (for a premiership footballer) doesn't mean that everyone can and that we should hold onto Tugay just because he has been a good player. He was wonderful last season, but he needs to prove himself again this year in around 15 matches before we should consider offering him a new deal.

3-0 Rovers...feeling good about this. We need to keep the run going and a win could make the table look quite nice.

I would keep the same price for the group stages, though I would start charging season ticket holders. £10 for a season ticket holder and £15 for the rest would seem fair, until the knock-out stages at least. -
Ajax or PSG away would be great. Definately going to make it to one of these.
-
As everyone has said so far, fantastic yet again.

I support a club in France as well as Blackburn, major difference is that if something happened to my club I wouldn't be too bothered. Certainly if Rovers ever played them then I wouldn't have any trouble working out who to support. Basically I have an interest in a more local team, but I fully support Rovers.

I agree with rover6 that this sounds like a fast way to bad deals. You are saying that you are giving the coaching staff rewards for making a net profit on transfer dealings, which could lead to us selling a few of our big players faster than we had planned. -

To be fair, was just watching the French football program on 5 and they showed a game where the away team had only brought 5 supporters. -

Very proud, great night to be a Rovers fan. Full marks to the croud, wonderful noise and nearly 19k isn't too bad considering that they only brought a couple hundred, if we had that crowd turn up every weekend we would have 20-25k every game. Wonderful goals, Benni showed great trickery and that was a simply fantastic strike from Bentley, one of the best goals ever scored by a Rover. Last season we all commented on the fact that we had never had a season with that number of great goals, well who knows, maybe we'll do it again (blame it on the balls). Salzburg may not be the greatest side, but they have one of the best managers around, are full of confidance and have some good players, so we shouldn't think that it was a given, we know from experience that there are no givens in European football. Fantastic. -

Dahlin was a very talented player and you must be able to understand why he was signed? -

Hopefully they'll fix a few things in the new game, a few things in particular really bother me. I don't like how many goals are scored from poor back passes or how you can get around a limited budget by simply putting in ridiculous bids with future fees after 50 games. -

He probably, and quite rightly, pays no attention to fools with mics. Don't know why we need to get upset for him. -

They would probably argue that there will be much less security and that they will be able to exercise much less control over the ground and that because of that it is best not to mix alcohol with two groups of fans from different countries who might have dangerous groups of supporters. I'm not saying that I would do the same, but I do understand it and don't believe it will ruin the game for supporters. -

I'd rather not have him do that Pleasure. I think lucas would be far wiser, especially now that he is our captain, to simply keep his head down and get on with life. Comments like that don't justify a response, we don't need players following the Bellamy line and throwing insults right, left and centre.
