I don't so far either.
Looks like another Evans.
Speaking of which, can't believe some are calling for his introduction. The whole team need to step it up massively. Holtby who's been generally excellent this season is having a stinker tonight.
I dont agree, Holtby has tried to make a pass our young forwards cant keep hold of the ball so it comes straight back, defense doing well, can they keep it up though.

Eh!!??? We haven’t had 67% away from home many times in my life. The players have worked hard here and we have played well...but we’ve lost this game purely down to individual player errors. 18 shots and only one goal....we’ve missed a bucketful tonight.
I totally agree, bell passed the bal;l back so many times when he had plenty of space to drive forward, dosent have the bottle.

Brereton's diving has been embarrassing tonight. As has the ref who has fallen for it every time.
Rubbish, he was strong and kept getting fouled, ref should have sent 2 watford players off.

I guess that's why we've signed Douglas, no?
I think that was the point i was making.

When was the last time we nicked a 1-0 away from home in stoppage time? Regardless of how well Bell has played defensively in recent matches we have to get Douglas in straight away to give us something going forward. On another note, Chris Hughton has a hex over us. I may be imaging it but we hardly ever seem to beat his sides. I knew as soon as he was appointed we were in for some pain today.
The issue i have with both our full backs is they cant cross a ball, bell in particular is found wanting, where as Douglas has a wand of a left foot, 10000% better than bell in all aspects of the game, its a no brainer.

The sooner Rothwell, Holtby, Dack and Elliott are back in that team the better.
Poor performance from a disjointed team...I think Dolan will do well to start on Wednesday.
My starting XI
kaminski
Nyambe Lenihan Ayala Douglas
Holtby Trybull Buckley
Elliott Arma Brereton

On the squad in general, an injury or two in key areas and we're struggling. It's been hyped massively on social media and on here how great our squad is. but an injury to Nyambe today and we don't have a right full back, an injury to an injury-prone Douglas and we're back to Bell. An injury to injury-prone Ayala and we're massively relying on injury-prone Lenihan never to get injured.
The depth of the defence is still quite weak IMO.
Its a bloody sight better than it was 2months ago by a country mile.

This league is wide open.
A huge test of Venky's ambition and nous.
Two, maybe three, very shrewd signings might, just might get us back into the PL providing our manager doesn't bottle it and revert to type.
Bigger tests to come. Think Wycombe will be the whipping boys for all teams and Derby are just a shambles. Having said that, you can only beat the opposition in front of you and 5-0 and 4-0 wins are pretty convincing.
This may well be the season which gives Venky's the opportunity (through promotion) to recoup big parts of their losses. Waggott and Mowbray MUST get their pitch to them right.
And with fans not being allowed back into grounds FFP or whatever it is must now be scrapped, get on to Sulihal and Venkys HQ, give us some money and we can go places. Also we are very exciting to watch, Just an observation, after watching Simon Grayson on EFL quest thank god we didnt get him as manager, what a boring boring chap.

We have never been in the playoffs even with Dack. We concede far too many goals.
Maybe i should reiterate what i meant, had Dack NOT have been injured along with Evans i feel sure we would have made the play offs. He was out what half the season.

Forest should be a real threat if Lyle kicks on and does well, which I imagine he will. Hard to see past Norwich winning the league though.
Us at present? Mid/lower half. Mid if the keeper turns out OK, huge problem if not.
I think thats a very unfair assessment, barring any serious injuries to key players such as Dack last season i reckon we would have been in the playoffs, after yesterdays performance at leicester the future looks very promising, try to be optimistic people.

You may be right about the wages but to me part of the perception of Hanley is due to the fact he was a young player coming through that did make mistakes however by the time he left us I felt he had matured into an excellent centre back and one of the best in the Championship. More concerning is his injury record but I would hope if we do try and get him that we would have investigated that. If he's on 25k a week he might be amenable to lower wages with a longer contract or possibly Norwich might loan him and make a 5-10k contribution to his wage rather than have to pay all of it when he is not in their first team plans. All speculation of course but we do need a couple of top quality defenders.
Well at least one good post from what two pages of undermining Hanleys ability, he's much better by far than anything we have right now, it's like you all know what he's done every dam game for Norwich, but hey forget his player of the seaon, he must have got that because hes the managers pet, total rubbish from some posters, again no benifit of the doubt, i hope kaminski dosent make ONE mistake, he will be slautered on here.

Souness's best 2 signings without a doubt
My point being Freidal was not thought good enough at Lpool, turned out to be one of the best, so some fans complaining about only £500k for our new goalkeeper is rather offensive, give the guy a chance please.

I think it's more than coincidence that extra sponsorship is announced and we sign(hopefully completed) a player.
I really dont think the extra sponsership deal with totally wicked has secured this signing, hell i bet the sponsership deal is nowhere near 500k
