Believe it or not, despite living near Oxford, I have never been to see the sights in London.

Well that changed at the weekend.

And with all the carnage the capital city can bring to a country boy, the craziest thing was spotting a chap in his 50`s at the foot of Big Ben in a Rovers scarf. So I go over to say hi and he is only from LA.

Was it one of you guys?

The last time something like that happened I was checking out of a hotel in LA in 1995 as a family from Darwin were checking in.

I didn`t catch a name, we were leaving the front door as they were entering. We only had time to exchange a few words.

It was July 95 if memory serves.

Just listening to Legends on Century and a certain 'waggy from Blackburn' phoned in from Wembley Stadium. Was down there with his lad apparently. I'm guessing it's our man.

Shortlands in South London is a bit of a hotbed of Rovers sightings - I've seen a lad in a Rovers shirt getting off the Orpington train and another lad quite often wears his Rovers scarf in this chilly weather

Shortlands? I live in Orpington, go to uni in Canterbury. Never once seen anybody in a Rovers shirt! Haha.
