Charlie Magpie Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Once again, Chorley FC are inviting Rovers' season ticket holders to watch this Saturday's home game at Chorley's Victory Park for only £5.00, on production of a current Rovers' season ticket at the turnstile. And that's not all!! Also, for this Saturday's home game against Worksop Town, all accompanied children under the age of 16 will be admitted completely FREE of charge! Chorley FC were unable to benefit from the recent 'Non-League Day' as they were playing away, however we hope to introduce non-league football to a wider audience this Saturday. We hope that the 'FREE for kids' offer will appeal to families who will be able to enjoy a great afternoon of football at a very reasonable price. Most of today's young football fanatics are too young to know the joys of standing on the terraces, congregating behind the goals and swapping ends at half time. There will also be a free raffle for all children in attendance with lots of prizes up for grabs! Like most football clubs, Chorley FC are keen to increase attendances and boost income in order to compete at the top of the table. Garry Flitcroft and Matt Jansen would be delighted to see a healthy turn-out of Rovers fans, young and old, at Victory park this Saturday! Thanks for any support you are able to offer us this Saturday

Charlie Magpie Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 I might just take this offer up. Be great to see you, 3:00pm kick-off, social club and bar open from about 1.30pm. Bring loads of kids for a great day out!!
DanLad Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I will definitely be going to more Chorley games, but not tomorrow as I am going to watch Stanley away at Fylde. I have been trying to email the club to see if I won the 50/50 draw for the game against Hednesford Town, but the email facility on the website doesn't work. I would like to check as there is a good chance I've won given that the odds are, presumably, 50/50?
Mike Graham Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I will go tomorrow.....and pay full price.....come on you Magpies!

Unfortunately the odds in this draw are not as generous as 50/50. The name of the draw refers to the fact that 50% of the money taken through ticket sales constitutes a cash prize, and the other 50% goes to the football club. Have you still got your ticket?

Sorry, the 50/50 thing is my standard joke when I buy the ticket. I know it's 50% winner and 50% to the club. If you get a chance to check, thank you, but I don't expect to have won and I can always ask next time I am on (which I think will probably be reasonably soon :-) )
