Blue n White Rover Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 As SAR said, poor bowling and the flat wickets have been a huge factor in the high scores. However, the players have to perform in order to get the big scores and both sides have turned up. Will be a cracking final match. Really looking forward to it.

Guest Norbert Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 For me, a good one day or 20/20 game has batsmen smashing it, but each team having one or two top that can not be smacked (e.g. Malinga). So the softer, medium pacers get punted, but then there is always bowler X or Y with a few overs left. Having said that, Chis Gayle's 175 was amazing to watch. I'm happy I wasn't called into work that day.
imy9 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Tendulkar is a top batsman but is overly hyped imo. How many runs has he made at home, where pitches have been perfected for him to score runs, compared with away? One of the reasons why I rate Warne as a better bowler than Murali, is because he took wickets around the world on different pitches.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Good win for India yesterday. The Windies are at low ebb at the moment.
