But until the day somebody comes along buys the club, clears the debts - we are stuck. FACT

Has anybody come to try to buy the club? NO THE CLUB IS PROBABLE UNSELLABLE BY NOW

Has anybody offered to pay off the debts? NO CLUB STILL HAS A LARGE DEBT

Venkys go, club folds. With nobody around interested or able in bringing the club out of administration. ROVERS DON'T AND CAN'T FILL EWOOD PARK. ANY BUYER COULD LOOK AT EWOOD, EMPTY SEATS SHOWS TOWNS LACK OF INTEREST IN IT'S FOOTBALL CLUB. SO WHAT INTEREST CAN THE CLUB GENERATE TO A 'POTENTIAL' BUYER?

Recently my mate and I were asked to look after a struggling pub for 3 months. which is why I haven't been on here that much recently. Town folk were saying they were not using the pub because of a group of trouble makers - we got rid of the trouble makers - the easy part. Yet still folk didn't use the pub, even when they knew a bloke wanted to heavily invest in it. The result was the investor walked away saying if the town isn't interested, why should I be. Sadly, that reminded me of Rovers at the moment. Possible the only way to get rid of venkys is fill Ewood park - which could show a possible buyer that the town wants it's football club.

The cold cold sad reality the club is in. FACT - VENKYS ARE PICKING UP THE BILLS

I hate Venkys as much as any man. But until somebody comes along, mega rich, club is stuck. As things stand at the moment it is Venkys or no club at all. FACT

Brave brave men those lads from WW1 and WW2, vast majority went to war without hesitation knowing they'd probably never come back. Its hard to get your head around it really, you just went without question, it was your duty, you family, neighbours and friends all went, never questioned.

So much admiration for the people from that era.

They knew 100% that they where fighting for their country, their lives lifes, their families lifes and everything they cared about back then unlike todays "wars" where the forces are mainly just used as pawns by politicians that only have the interests of the corporations(oil, gas, etc..) they really work for at heart. Joining the forces today is simply a career choice or a last resort.
