Though I can appreciate when you watch players like Gudjohnsen and Gueye week in week out it can be hard to recognise a striker working with the team. 

That’s what you get when you go looking for proven experienced talent at this level and not bargain basement signings. He’s  been around the block long enough to be all those things. How he’d go on with our corners is another story.

I think it's a club policy from higher up rather than a head coach policy, he'll be brought into line at some point.

Probably when they refuse to back him to any tune in Jan and say use the academy lads instead.
