In the league yes that's correct, we do have one cup win though in Coventry back in 2017 when we were in league one. 1 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) Interesting quotes from Ismael on Carter and his injury worries. Despite his inability to ever stay fit, I always had Hayden down as big professional but reading between the lines VI’s words cast doubt on that (from his perspective at least). https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25548193.hayden-carter-sent-blackburn-rovers-injury-message/ Edited 9 hours ago by G Somerset Rover Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Wonder what he's hinting at there ? Sounds like maybe he does too much driving. Quote
Andy Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago He's a northern lad, isn't he? Surely he can't live that far from the training ground. Maybe the type of car he's driving? His diet / lifestyle? Hard to read any specifics from VI's comments, there. Quote

So might be 2 down for the weekend. On 14/10/2025 at 08:58, MarkBRFC said: Think Gudjohnsen was suspended, not sure about Kargbo. Not sure if it has been mentioned elsewhere, but Kargbo was also suspended, also an update on Baradji "It's the same as last time, those who have played with the national team have played a lot but have no injuries. We had two players suspended (Kargbo and Gudjohnsen) so they came back earlier than normal which is good for us. "A couple will be back today and tomorrow so everyone will be available for the final session on Friday. "Some players have come back from an injury and got some minutes like Adam Forshaw, he played 45 minutes against Burnley which is good. “It’s good to have him back, but he is focused on himself and trying to get that stability now to train with consistency to be able to help us on and off the pitch. "Moussa Baradji is making progress as well. My expectation is he will be fit after the next international break. Hopefully, we will get the schedule right. It looks good at the minute, we assess week by week, and this is my expectation. "If you believe in a player, you see the quality, it's a question of time. In the long run, everyone will enjoy him. The fans and the club will enjoy him but he needs time to come back, adapt to the Championship and compete. "We will need everyone and it's our job to prepare him. For the others, we need to assess them still until the last minute." 1 Quote
roversfan99 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Looks good? That he wont be fit until at best late November, but more likely well beyond that? Joke of a signing. Ismael has sold Carter down the river in the press today too. Yes his injuries do make him a waste of time but to be questioning him in that manner, the "open and honest" gang will love him but its really poor man management to say that in public. How about looking back at ourselves who have left us with only him as a right footed centre back. 1 Quote
