especially against bloody Wrexham.

Remember stuff about 'tinpot Bournemouth' or Brentford –no history yada yada, we are founder members of the league etc etc. Nostalgia thread alive and kicking (enjoyable it is too).

But this is where we are. Looking at others who have ambition, upward momentum, backing and functional systems in place.

Ismael hoping to have player(s) back tomorrow. Can only assume Cantwell and maybe Toth if his injury wasn't as bad as feared.

On another note Ipswich play tonight before Tuesday's game. Has to be another advantage to them to have the extra recovery time. Still don't understand why this fixture was squeezed into the the busiest period of the season. Whether it was the first available date or not, we should have made the bastards wait for a convenient date for us,

Probably squeezed in, to suit the mighty sky television.

The biggest issue with Gueye is that he doesn't press with any intensity, so centre halves can step in at any point giving them an overload through the middle of the pitch. I could forgive his profligacy in front of goal if he was a monster out of possession but he's woeful, I'd argue his tactical awareness out of possession is his biggest weakness.

The club that sold Gueye to us, must be rubbing there hands with glee. Somebody wants to teach him how to play football.

You'd expect this run of away form to end at some point, let's hope it's not tomorrow.

As far as Wrexham are concerned what must it be like to follow a Club where the owners are ambitious and want to win promotion? Has no-one told them the idea is to sell all your best players and try to become "sustainable"?

When it does end, we are in desperate trouble, unless these bunch of losers, start winning games at home.

A Baradji, Forshaw, Montgomery midfield is enough to make me feel misty eyed about the days of Akpan and Lowe.

I can't understand, why Baradji didn't start against Q.P.R.

Gueye a bit hard done by at the weekend by two Rangers all over him but didn't look like winning anything that came his way.

He's 6ft plus, should be winning, plenty of ariel battles.

Regardless of backing, ambition or ‘upward momentum’ the point remains, it’s Wrexham we’re playing tomorrow. We’ve beat numerous teams within 1 point of them along with teams above them away from home this season. Like any game in this league it will be tough but it’s honestly no wonder the players look to escape this type of misery, which I’m pretty sure won’t be on show in Wales tomorrow.

Anybody watching the game last Friday night could see the smouldering embers of a good club and fanbase are still there.

Anybody watching on Tuesday would then realise it needs a flame flower under it and quickly.

All those running rovers and any of the ownership watching would just be thinking damn it Gudjohnsen we need you putting them away you're earmarked to be the next big sale son.

Misery? Reality.

And I agree, it could be tough but there is nothing to fear as such.

As for the players escaping this misery - sounds like another post from backroom staff blaming home fans for dire performances.

Edit. VI in charge for just over 9 months - played 15 home games and won 3. That might have something to do with misery and poor attendances.
