That's my point but that's hasn't affect the owners decisions maker. 

The Walker Family could held on until the TV rights and used that money

Of course it has impacted them

It has meant half a billion less revenue, which has meant a decreased on pitch product and over a decade of mismanagement, culminating in some very embarrassing moments for Rovers

During that time, a certain few people have continued to pocket 6 figure yearly salaries. It pays well to manage a decline

The Walker Family was at war with each and against their advisors in the High Court. Rovers were just a cash absorbing chattel to the family members. Some Trustees. John Williams and Tom Finn were absolute heroes in those sad circumstances but any concept of strategic thinking and planning was totally binned in those black days.

That was the culmination of about 8 years of fighting. A former trustee directly responsible for Rovers also brought and won a case against the Trust over non-payment of fees.

How many of those walk ons were there to see Disney team? How many walk ons will be there on Sunday? The 10 season ticket holders I go with, there are 3 actually committed to going as the other 7 yesterday was the final straw.

Well me and the 2 I go with will be there on Sunday and I'm taking my parents to the game, so hopefully its a win for them.

Evidently not. But what’s the overall point you’re making - that everything is futile and nobody should try?

If that’s your angle, then it’s a sad angle. It is a view of defeatism. Resigning yourself to the thought that Venkys will never be impacted enough to sell must be tough. You have seen first hand what 15 years has done to Rovers. Now imagine another 15. It is not outside of the realms of possibility that Rovers cease to be a Championship club at that point. We may be in this position, but in League 1. The general trajectory of BRFC tells you that is where we are heading
