  1. Not sure he is an upgrade. Looked to me like his legs were gone towards the end of the season. Would rather Buckley get further opportunities.
  2. Why? When he was a big part of our 6 wins from 7 last year, and N Ireland's success. N Ireland struggle without him. That being said all three central midfielders were poor yesterday.
  3. Not sure why Davenport would be ahead of Evans. I am surprised he wasn't sent out on loan.
  4. I backed us at 11/1, 14/1 and 9/1 for promotion. Close to £5000 if we get to the premier league. Was thinking of putting more on at 13/2, but a bit concerned with all the players missing tomorrow, and playing against a new manager.
  5. I certainly does. They are losing a fortune supporting us. We only need to look at Wigan and Bolton to see what could happen.
  6. I'd expect the young Greek lad and Fisher to go out on loan.
  7. Yes, we have been the better side in every single match we have played, why not top 2.
  8. If this Norwich guy fits the bill and Johnson and Holby keep up their form I would tend to agree. We do have Buckley, and eventually Travis to come back after all. A fee would come in handy.
  9. Yeah, Eastham is a decent prospect. Probably best to move on the other 2.
  10. 8 wins out of 9 will do just fine; even better of the matches we lose aren't promotion contenders. ?
  11. Of course you need pace. Tyler's pace was how he stopped Vardy from scoring against us. Pace is ultra important in the modern game.
  12. Not if we get £20m. I would play Dack there. And we have a lot of good youngsters coming through. Armstrong does have a bad habit of getting caught offside. But hopefully we keep all our main players.
  13. Williams isn't great in the air and he's got by so far. Think Tyler's pace would work well alongside Ayala.
  14. Williams has still a tendency to nearly undo all his good work with suicidal passes. And not sure how he will hold up in proper ariel tests through the season. But with young Tyler excellent against Leicester and the good young centre backs we have, we should be okay. Agree totally regarding Holtby and Johnson. And great to have the talented Buckley and reformed Chapman in reserve, along with Dack soon coming back.
  15. Different times. But I have seen plenty of George Best etc. It is far easier to run past people when in wide positions. Rothwell can do it from central midfield. I stand by what I said. Just wish Joe could shoot.
  16. Dunn was more skilled than Duff imo. And as much world class as Big Brad was. To me Rothwell is world class running with the ball.
  17. Well he got his face smashed putting his head in where it hurts for us. I think he'll probably be okay. Really sweet cross he put in tonight and industrious display. Gonna be handy for us in tough away games; reminds me a little of a poor man's David Batty.
  18. A bit of both. Bit of a tight hamstring I believe. Hopefully we (Norn Iron) rest him now for the next game.
  19. Massive game. And will be good to get him back to fitness. He wouldn't have played for us last game of two even if he had been fit.
  20. In Armstrong's position is the only one to suit him in a 433 imo. Not as quick but more likely to stay onside. Lol!
  21. Played plenty of decent games at Forest with fans. Of course it would be great if fans here would give him a chance especially when he is busting a gut.
