The guys who did that did another similar throwback to the 80's style film called 'You're Next', which I plan on watching off the back of this one.

We watched The Guest over the weekend . A very good thriller . We had no idea what it was about snd best way to watch it . Pretty good .
I've seen that, really good indie film. The soundtrack was superb.

Reckon Floyd will dictate and turn it into a snooze fest. Still going to watch it obviously.

Sons of Anarchy is class, except for the Irish season, that wasn't that great.
-
I'm with Mike on this, always end up at Anaz when it's my choice.
Admittedly I've only been Sukhi's/Resh's a few times, each time I've felt rushed and that the tables are too close together. Not been for years mind.
-
Aye pretty close the only time I've been it was pretty average but hear rave reviews so will give it another shot
Donner - his magic doesn't look bad but I can't see it being something that's easy to make a good living on, unless there's another reason the place shut I can imagine a comeback
You're probably right there really, but with his Dad's money behind him I guess he's lucky enough to afford to try his hand at anything.
-
He's been into magic for a number of years now, he's pretty good from what I've seen.

I quite enjoyed Looper, agree about the make up it looked a bit silly but they had to try something I suppose.

In my opinion Prince is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time, the man can come up with a quality solo.
Check out his solo on 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' at the Rock and Roll hall of fame

Dallas Buyers Club is good, Amazing Spider-Man not so much for me. Best parts were some of the one liners he came up with, that's about it.
Then again maybe that is because I'm sick of the plethora of superhero films that are invading our screens nowadays, I'm sick to the back teeth of them. They don't impress me anymore and it's too hard to keep track of them all.

Just a shout for the Spreadeagle at Sawley. Had our daughter's wedding reception there on Saturday. The food was piping hot; the service was excellent. They were very patient when photos took longer than expected and still managed to get the food on the table perfectly presented, hot and without any suggestion that there had been a problem when we made them wait almost an hour. 90 guests and total bill came to about 4000, which included drinks and an evening meal as well as a lunch with several choices and they even coped with an unexpected guest who made a mistake and turned up for the wrong bit of the day. Brilliant. Anyone with a function coming up could do a lot worse than look there.
Very good to hear as got my Sister's wedding there in August!
My sister's wedding is also there in August. Weird!

I watched Eraserhead a few days ago and I'm still not sure what it means in all honesty. I don't even know if I WANT to know what it means yet.

Discovering some great games since I got ps+
Hotline miami and brothers both brilliant
Hotline Miami is nuts, great soundtrack as well.

Cheers for the clip Hypnotic I'll definitely give it a go, I've read that there's plenty of Easter egg type jokes that sort of bubble away all series setting up for the 'punch line' in later episodes/series finales etc.

And to any of you looking for good comedy check out Arrested Development. It has to be the funniest, cleverest comedy there has been. I have watched each episode countless times and it just keeps on being funny.
I've been meaning to watch Arrested Development for ages just never got round to it, I've seen every episode Curb Your Enthusiasm plenty of times though. It's absolutely brilliant, I'm always preaching it to everyone.

The Shield is good, as is Dexter (series 1-5, after that it gets poor). Sons of Anarchy is class.

I've been playing that. I love the way it looks and sounds exactly like the TV show but I'm not 100% sold on the gameplay.
The entire thing is just wandering around a South Park diorama, looking at in-jokes, fetching items for various characters, and loads of tedious fights that are all exactly the same.
Did you get past the Al Gore fight? I almost gave up on the game at that point - I got beaten so many times, it was no fun at all. Listening to him do his stupid speech over and over, then trying a new weapon or buddy character, only to die and have to repeat it... On about the 10th attempt I turned down the difficulty and finally squeaked past it.
Well usually I'm not normally into turn based combat but as it's South Park I thought an exception should be made, you have a point with what you say though. It felt strange when I first started playing as it looks just the programme.
Yes it took me ages and plenty of health potions, that speech was very tedious.
On a side note I finished the new Tomb Raider a couple of weeks ago, cracking game that.

Played Titanfall last night, have to say that game is absolute chaos. Some of the maps are just insane. Impressive stuff.
Also if you're a fan of South Park then play The Stick of Truth, been playing it all week. Some real laugh out loud moments.

He probably played in the African youth tournaments with Kanu

The con of the 50% offer
forgot the veg with the main course
cooked both steaks incorrectly
waitress not familiar with items on the menu
Starters not good enough for an MPW restaurant
and 10% automatic service charge even though they cocked up on several counts
Bill of £70 for 2, for 2 starters and two mains, orange juice and wine, not good value in any way shape or form
Bloomin heck that does sound very poor
-
Went last night, would not recommend it, not impressed by the food or service, a poor 5/10
It's been great both times I've been, what was it that you didn't like may I ask?

Has anyone been to Marco Pierre White in Liverpool please?
My team at work have persuaded me to take them out and chose it for me on the back of a promise I made a few months back......what a mug !!
I've been a couple of times and it's fantastic. Great steaks (as it is a steakhouse) and a good selection of wines. Really nice ambience, love it there. Depending on how many is in your team, you may be sat in one of the booths or up on the mezzanine floor if its a large number.

Having loved the original on the mega drive, I purchased the remake Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse on XBLA last week and that's a fun game.
