  1. It wasn't. Ifollow is unreliable. Ya ,they should do whatever they can to get fans back.
  2. £25 million was a great price. All they needed to do was keep us up. Cash cow. Clueless though.
  3. I got banned from the official board(RIP) numerous times due to my choice language about Kean. They were absolutely clueless. I would imagine Balaji watched a couple of games of football partying and coked up. Decided then "ya, why not?" Since then it has been taken over by the serious business people. Who don't know about football either and are trying to run the club as a business. A business with huge losses.
  4. Obviously that would be unacceptable. Do you think Anderson et al are involved somehow? Or even some remnants of that period? I mean I would imagine they have continued to receive football advice from somewhere. The double audit hopefully brought some clarity and that has led to the understanding that we need some proper administration and leadership behind the scenes.
  5. Look I think prices should be cheaper and all games should be reasonably priced to view. I just want to be able to watch the Rovers and for good crowds in the stands.
  6. Just lucky their daddy built an empire. I would imagine they are completely out of touch with reality in general.
  7. Ya. People are people. I have no doubt that Balaji decided it was "good idea" and then it all unravelled. Pride has kept them involved, to theirs and our detriment.
  8. They have little interest in the grand scheme of things. My point was they have out a lot of money in. Mowbray is doing well.
  9. Those clubs didn't all rely on investment. Those that did have big crowds. The ones that didn't were a combination of good management, getting signings right etc. Looking at where we are now, we are like may clubs that are in the mix. Mowbray is doing well. If we got gates of 30,000 plus per week then we could have expectations of loaning those game changers. How do we make money? Honest question.
  10. They ,for some reason, decided to buy a club. Kids with money etc. We have felt the brunt of it.
  11. They clearly were. Do you think they wanted us to get relegated and therefore out hundreds of millions in? Makes no sense.
  12. You are comparing us to promoted clubs. Any team in our division can do that. Ultimately they have put hundreds of millions in. Whether it be pride, which is my guess,or whatever reason, that's a fact.
  13. Separate issue, we are talking about money put in. We can all agree on the on what you say.
  14. Rhodes, Murphy, Etuhu, keeping a lot of other high earners on. They did spend. They were just clueless.
  15. Well if a season ticket holder decides not to go because it's cold, that is on them.
  16. Some do,some don't. Some completely remove themselves from the financial aspect beyond keeping the lights on, they haven't.
  17. I never claimed they did. My point was they have put huge money onto the club.
  18. Indeed, but you need to keep the same manager and a large amount of personnel. That has been proven.
  19. Man,look at how much they have put in.
  20. He did alright for us. Handy as back up,but you are probably right about him moving again
  21. Nice. I mean it's another CB in with Mulgrew. You can't discount Magloire and then say we don't pay enough young lads. If it's a case of wriggle room with budgets I would take those 2 if it means we get a decent loan or 2 in
  22. You are only looking at premier League though. We got peanuts for N'zonzi. Signed Dann and a few other cloggers. It's since then they have had to pump in millions. Imagine we stayed up and they gave Allardyce what we have squandered since. That would could potentially have worked out amazing for both him and us.
  23. It's all relative though. Many clubs have fucked up the parachute payments. I suppose the way the wages are in the premier League, that's why it's there. Burnley have negotiated it to a tee. God damn Dyche.
