I don't think I'll be watching either tbh, the events surrounding the awarding of the tournament, the human rights abuses, and their attitude to gay people has led to a total apathy towards the competition. I know my not watching isn't going to have the blindest bit of difference on how Qatar is run, in the same way Gary Lineker or Alan Shearer not going would have any impact outside of the UK. I hope they do some work to shine a light on the wrongs done in the run-up to this tournament but they're ex-footballers turned presenters, not investigative journalists.

Besides, Warzone 2 comes out today ...

Statistically, "Home Advantage" is a real thing in most sports. There's a really good podcast from Freakanomics where they talk about it, but it's not the main focus of the podcast so I can't quite put my finger on which one it was.

I'm not saying the stats above are just down to that, but it is a factor. It'll be interesting to see what our home points per match is midweek when we've had a few more. Or even from past seasons.

At this point in time pretty much every mug in our house is a Terrace mug, we've had their towels before and the Mrs uses their bar mat thing as a keyboard/mouse pad as well. We're very happy with the quality.

(And I should add, we had Terrace merch before I became involved with BRFCS)

Here at BRFCS Towers we're hearing reports that fans have missed out on tickets for this game because the website crashed during checkout, similar problems have been reported for Hull tickets but there was no rush on them.

Anyone miss out because the site crashed on them?

Rovers Ladies have another fixture at Ewood in November, against Southampton, tickets are £5 for adults, £3 for concessions.

Has anyone been watching the Ladies this season? BRFCS sponsor Saffron Jordan and the games I've managed to get to this season she's scoring some cracking goals, including this against Charlton the other weekend ...
