    Had enough of wildrover.

" I read the news today oh boy
Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall
I'd love to turn you on"

If there was ever a song the crowd would sing like they do at West Ham, Sheffield United etc, it would be this ... music fades just before "I read the news ..." and the crowd take over.

there is an excellent van serving various tasty morsels on nuttall street and they take cash, far better offering than that overpriced sodexo shite that swag did the deal with,on  my travels last season,it was clear, ewood had by far the worst food offerings, even non league chorley were superior,in price and service

That FootyScran account is good, and they (or their followers rather) were very positive about the balti we had last season ... lets hope we get that again this year. Footyscran also run a register of food places looking and can match them up with clubs that are looking.

The logic of 'we'll make this experience so unpleasant that you will have to pay to get rid of the ads' doesn't compel me to do so.

I think it was @J*B who already said we push back on a lot of ads that the suppliers want us to run, we make less money than we could by purposely not cramming the site with ads, the one concession we did make to the suppliers was a full page ad sometimes on page transition.

If anyone sees any ads that are obtructing content too much or are outsude their area then send us a screenshot and we'll report them to our supplier.

At least we're not as bad as Lancashire Live!

  5. Last nights game was a perfect example of how JDT has said he wants us to play, play the ball around at the back and draw the opposition on to us, then use the fact they're out of shape and take advantages of the space they have left. It's very much an evolution of the tika-taka football Barcelona used to play except instead of doing it all over the pitch to create gaps to attack, we just do it at the back. Maybe as we get more experienced at it, or get better players in it'll spread to other areas of the pitch, but I would bet at some point someone's done some analasys on those tika-taka teams and found that the majority of goals came from playing the ball around the back. There's a reason we do and it's not "Well, we might as well start somewhere."

I thought Ainsley Pears was brilliant again last night, a save is as good as a goal in my book and he made plenty yesterday, he's lost that air of "just about to drop a big one" for me and it's going to be a very difficult choice on who to pick betwen the 2 1st team keepers when Kaminsky's fit.

We just have to remember that progress is not linear, we will not be able to play at that standard every game for the rest of the season, we've had a wonderful season so far with a great cup run, dumping out 2 Premier League teams, any missing out on a play-off place will be a last gasp thing and not a gradual fade away like normal (and will hurt more if that's how our season ends) and that is way beyond what even the most blue and white of us could have hoped for when we didn't even have a manager a couple of weeks before the season started!

My only worry right now is that JDT won't be our manager next season because a bigger (more financially able) club has wooed him away.

  6. John Motson is very excited about the new brand of Jif cleaner

Oh, hello there! John Motson here, and let me tell you, I'm absolutely thrilled about the new brand of Jif cleaner! It's an absolute game-changer, folks!

Now, I've been commentating on football matches for decades, and let me tell you, I've seen some tough stains on those football jerseys. But with Jif cleaner, those stains don't stand a chance! The powerful formula of Jif cleaner lifts even the toughest dirt and grime, leaving your clothes looking as good as new!

And it's not just for football jerseys, folks. Jif cleaner can tackle any stain, from kitchen counters to bathroom tiles. It's a versatile cleaner that can handle any mess you throw at it!

So, whether you're a football fan or just someone who wants a clean home, I highly recommend Jif cleaner. It's a real game-changer, folks!

Basically, this @JoeH but @StubbsUKwill be able to give an even more technical answer.

A bit of a faff and we are looking for a solution but haven’t got one any better than upload elsewhere and link (yet).

That's the way to do it, BRFCS it set up & tuned to host a website & forum, we don't have the bandwidth to be hosting loads of video, but if you upload it to YouTube & paste the link it'll pick it up and make it all fancy for you.

But there is a map online 1900 or so that shows the two bigger houses not built but land divided and a couple of structures no longer there (club house?).

Next time we have a really dry spell it would be fascinating to get a drone up in the air and see if the dry earth exposes the location of any old buildings or anything.
