  1. Saw a post online after the Brum game after Sammie and Dembele both scored a brace and it was Peterboroughs front 3 from a few years back, Sammie, Dembele and Toney were up front for them. All have come a long way. Found it quite interesting.
  2. Was a smart stop from Juki but yeah the first whilst it was from close range it was very central, he ends up pushing it more into the top corner area but I think he should have kept it out. 2nd one did take a deflection and moved very fast so can't complain on that one.
  3. Get the pitchforks ready lads but I think Leo should have kept out their first goal.
  4. Haven't seen many people getting on Leonard's back, the odd person criticising a player doesn't mean it's the general consensus does it? Harry is a good little player, learning the game and has a decent future ahead fingers crossed.
  5. Nah bud you are wrong. He doesn't have to be abysmal every game to be considered substandard. He'd been rinsed more times than I care to remember. Rarely scores or assists even for a left back. He's poor.
  6. Sammies drive, determination and heart will get him over 20 this season, he never stops, so impressive. Great selection of finishes too, he's clearly enjoying being the main man.
  7. Think everyone was solid tonight, only concern is Siggurdson, involved in the 4th goal but he was poor enough tonight, half arsed and sluggish. It's not really clicked got him since he got off to a flying start. Trav also a concern, very limited and hindered us first half, was the right call to replace him.
  8. Why are people jibing at people who rate some players and not others? Highlighting Pickering and A.Wharton, I rate Wharton massively and don't rate Pickering at all, is that allowed? Strange stuff after an enjoyable game and result. "And for those of you who give player X a hard time"...give it a rest.
  9. Jaysus we made hard work of it but got there in the end. Madness to be so relieved to win after leading 3-0 but hey ho. The Brum commentators genuinely shocked at our style of play "if this is how they are going to play all season then who'd be a Blackburn fan?"
  10. Why the fuck are we going toe to toe with them?? Fucking kill it. Insane stuff.
  11. Nice to have a 6 goal swing currently on our goal difference in 2 games....make it 5 goal swing now 🙄
  12. Penny seems to finally have dropped or else Hill just went rogue, have a shot from distance and you can score, put a decent corner in at the weekend and you can also score. Happy days! 😁
  13. Wow. Safe to say Sammie is centre forward now. Absolutely on fire. Massive respect for him for stepping up. Delighted for him👏
  14. Let's get back in firm Siggy and bag one for yourself tonight son.
  15. Ole ole ole 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
  16. On a separate note Ipswich are absolutely flying. Battering Millwall 3 nil after 38 mins.
  17. These are there for the taking and we seem to be sinking to their level. Regressed badly after the first 15. Shake them up Tomasson. Change of tactics required.
  18. It was his knee but looks more an impact one so hopefully not too serious. Walked off so that's a plus.
  19. That good old Irish magic 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
  20. Hill is a super player. Top class at this level.
  21. The 10m from his sale will be greatly welcomed. He's off to the premier league so we can't deny him that. Softens the blow.
  22. I'd say Garrett when Wharton was knackered and not having much of an influence to freshen things up. I suppose another question is how often has the manager made decisive substitution that have swung the game in our favour. It hasn't happen too often if ever that I can recall. It's the same gear and style no matter the opposition, score, game, competition which I think is quite frustrating.
  23. Yeah that's fair enough and reasonable. I don't need to direct my anger at anyone though, I know the owners and board have been shite. They screwed the manager but when it comes to matters on the pitch some of the decisions even with limited players seem quite avoidable in costing us games we shouldn't lose. I'm not conservative when it comes to football and like attacking football but we 15 mins to go last night I'd have taken a point and that's not said with hindsight.
  24. Luton were never expected to get out of the league was my point. They had experienced players but no world beaters. They worked hard and were extremely hard to beat.
  25. Have the wolves spurs game on and the commentators just said "Gary O' Neil adopts his team to the players he has available and the opposition they face" imagine that. I don't dislike the Tommasson but he really needs to adapt for certain games. We are not Man City where we just play our game and let them worry about us. We are far too open at crucial times of games and it costs us alot of points.
