  1. This is horrendous. So disjointed. Sort it out.
  2. A win in any manner to keep the momentum going.
  3. I love how you think I can't comprehend humans making mistakes, this might surprise you but I can and I have made plenty. I am judging a professional footballer and saying how it's not really an acceptable error to make and needs to be cut out. Your point about players mistaking mistakes every game isn't really a fair assessment. That error last night isn't the equivalent of a midfielder miscontrolling a pass, it's the equivalent of missing from a yard out (which no one did). I'm getting drawn into a debate with people who are trying to mask it or justify it more than I care about the error itself. Time to move on regardless.
  4. I wouldn't consider a performance containing that degree of error as playing well, given he had very little to do after that he wasnt given the chance to redeem himself. The bar is fairly low if making a horror mistake that leads to a goal and then the basics after that means you played well. Higher standards are required from the players, management and the fans. Too soft for too long now, zero accountability. You can back the players but still be honest.
  5. Stop making excuses, id expect the keeper to save that if Hyam had him in a headlock nevermind being near him. It's a howler but we move on. Let's call it as it is.
  6. As I said they are both dodgy. Take both of their last 3-5 appearances as a comparison and I'd say they have made similar errors with Leo's being the worst of them last night, cannot deny that.
  7. "Recovered well after his mistake"...he had very little to do thankfully.
  8. People seem desperate to convince themselves there is nothing to be worried about. I said it before that I actually don't mind Pears but to tell me that Leo isn't as dodgy as Pears (so far) is just delusional. We were spoiled with TK and even he has his moments but they were few and far between when you look back compared to now. Seems to be alot of errors with keepers these days down to the way the game has changed. Raya struggling, onana struggling, Sanchez struggling, list goes on. Just need to sign Ederson or Allison.
  9. No but he hasn't covered himself in glory with that last night, it's a massive mistake and it's not the first time he has looked suspect. I'm not hammering him at all and would love him to be a success but it's silly to turn a blind eye because you want a new signing to be good. He was suspect in the cup against Cardiff and when he came on against Leicester he was poor for their fourth. Got away with one against Cardiff last weekend. When he completely flapped at a cross but they didn't punish us. There is enough there to be concerned, surely you see that?
  10. Wasn't the question. Would you be happy for him to make an error like that every game?
  11. So you be happy for him to do that every week?
  12. He was anything but quick to adapt. We shipped 4 against Ipswich, 3 against Sunderland, 3 against Plymouth, and 4 against Leicester within the last month. It's change over the last 2-3 weeks. You could see from the start of the season it was never going to work and needed changing.
  13. Don't think it works like that.
  14. Didn't think he was great tonight at all. Pretty anonymous for me but opinions and all that.
  15. Silly season lasts awhile with new signings. Great to get 3 wins on the bounce and ditch the suicide football. Still there at times and tests my nerves but it's certainly calmed alot thanks fcuk. Take these gritty 1 goal wins all day long.
  16. We are on the verge of someone saying that Leo's mistake was the reason we won "it gave us incentive to go and win" ๐Ÿ˜‚
  17. Seen it loads of times. Both horrendous and Pears got caned. We should at least be consistent. I fear to think what the reaction on here would be if pears did that tonight.
  18. Odd how the good is massively emphasised and the bad massively underplayed. He did ok, not worth using as an example to highlight people's criticism of him like it was some heroic performance. And I like Scott.
  19. Again though, not as bad as that and he too has been guilty of some real beauts. Need both to cut them out end of story. Great result in the end.
  20. That tonight was worse than any of Pears. Genuinely. Really was a howler of the highest order.
  21. Goal and assist for the Britt-meister general ๐Ÿ‘
  22. Well done to all. Players and management. Gutsy win from everyone involved.
  23. What a fucking goal. Brittain on fire this season. Brilliant๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ
