Exactly, I love how it almost implied like he just started goalkeeping this season. He should have the basics down, can handle the odd clanger and a few shaky moments but I can't believe what has been on show so far. No, I'm not writing him off but I'd absolutely have Pears in ahead of him if both were fit at the moment.

Let's not do that. He's been so bad since he arrived. Smaller errors are still errors, he's had some howlers already and anything that goes near him looks like resulting in a goal. Not scapegoating but you have to say what you see.

Watched 3 back to back PL games today. None of them play the way we try to. Keepers mix it up, go long, players cross the ball, win second balls. I forgot what it's like to actually put in a decent corner let alone score from one. We never seem to score a header and if we do it's very rare. Can't think of one this season. Our approach is unique to us, try to play it out from the back no matter what and constantly get caught out. Needs to change.

They shouldn't be put in that position. Manager wants plaudits for playing attractive football when no one wants it. Get the ball out if the danger area and at least make them break us down. It's fucking idiotic persisting with this approach.
