  1. Hirst really is poor. Tried to not pile it on but doesn't seem to have any strengths. Even a basic pass seems beyond him. Bad.
  2. Adam just flicked a boot at it in possession in the middle of the park. Looked like he couldn't have cared less.
  3. Been shite so far. Pathetic from both Wharton's for that penalty...half arsed.
  4. Whilst not atrocious, the pitch looks a bit worse for wear which is disapp given the break, harsh weather or not you would expect it to be a little better.
  5. He sure does and is far too arrogant to change his ways or hold his hands up. Rinse and repeat. Yesterday was a nightmare showing and he couldn't/wouldn't adapt. Championship centre halves, make shift wing backs, freezing cold, snowing...who the fcuk instructs them to play out from the back in a local derby? Oh yeah...the same guy that tried to outplay Burnley in yet another humiliation.
  6. That Morocco manager is fucking good isn't he? Talk about a well drilled outfit. Very impressed with him. Looks like he takes no shit either.
  7. Travis' decline has been abysmal.
  8. Called this from day one. JDT is out of his depth, way out. The signs were there. The wins were unconvincing and his tactics are criminal. Plan B? He doesn't even have plan A. Cut your losses.
  9. Happy that the game went ahead for you lads that made the effort. Was stuck on the runway at Dublin airport for 3 hours due to Manchester airport being shut. At 11 I had to call it. Was bringing my Dad and my son over. Was a separate gang of Rovers fans on the plane too that decided to call it too. Disappointing but hopefully get the win to put a silver lining on a hell of a morning.
  10. Birdie flying the flag in Marbs! Lock up your daughters.
  11. 2-0 Dolan again...another nice finish inside the box
  12. 1-0 Rovers...Dolan with a tidy finish one on one dinked the keeper
  13. I guess their Hearts just weren't in it😉
  14. Still alot of passing around the back...looks a lovely little set up all the same, few days in the sun and a game or two to keep Sharpe. Would of been good craic to go as a fan if you were in the area.
  15. Legend Sparks. Is it a car park for just an area easy to park and is there a charge?
  16. Coming over for this one with the young lad. He is only 4 so going to rent a car...advice on parking be very welcome. Should I park at the ground or is their a handier place? Cheers in advance.
  17. I get your point but wasn't just yesterday was it? Yesterday, given the opposition and how passionate everyone was about putting in a performance and not making it easy simply magnified the short comings in team selection and tactics. We've seen this type of showing every other week this season. I'm quite measured and tone can be misinterpreted in text form but it's not acceptable at all. I'm happy to be where we are and would be chuffed about making the top 6 in any capacity but we can't throw it away but gifting the opposition victories in the manner we have been this season.
  18. Exactly, hard to get behind him when you know after a win there is a high chance of a capitulation 72 hours later. That is not enjoyable no matter how you justify it. It's Jekyl and Hyde. It's bi polar disorder in football form. Good moments but far too frustrating overall.
  19. I think this is a very poor standard. Like very very poor. You don't have to be a great team to do well in it. We are a few signings away from getting automatic if we don't get up this season. It's a crazy league. Get two decent midfielders in who are aggressive and experienced and the difference would be night and day from the powderpuff dirt we have grown accustomed to.
  20. I thought this squad, in this league could and can be top 6 yes. I'm not massively put out by JDT for the record but the manner in which we do lose is so concerning. For years I would ordinarily put defeats and losses on the players. I think players at every club get away with murder and can hide behind the manager. This is the first time in my life I actually think you can blame the managers selection and tactics on multiple defeats. Purely down to that and that alone. I don't even think Burnley were that impressive today. We invited them on, didn't play to put strengths, start messing about at the back over and over and the managers orders. Awful.
  21. A good manager maximises what he has. There is talent in the squad but no matter what you make of it you cannot apply the tactics JDT does with the playing out from the back against decent opposition with no plan B. It's staggering that he persists with it. Adapt!
