Was Mowbray actually after him, he said last week he hadn't spoken to the player, so utter BS again from Mowbray, agree a deal two weeks ago and dont speak to the player when a transfer is agreed, the guy is getting worse than the liar Kean, and that takes some doing.

I wonder who did speak to the player (or his agent)? Waggot?? Or was it just fluff all along to distract from the Arma fee 🤔

Think we can forget about Nyambe and Rothwell signing. I'd sell the latter if the opportunity arose. Not sure we have adequate cover for Nyambe or I'd sell him too. In defence of Rothwell running his contract down, I believe we tried to sign him in a previous window but Oxford didn't accept the bid, so he ran down his last few months. May be wrong on that though.

Question is why the move to Sheff Utd fell through... Rumours that it was our end that pulled the plug which, if true, is idiotic at best if we aren't planning on giving him what he wants.

  3. Think Ayala will play - early points are important and TM will count on a loan and Wharton coming back later on.

Expect Forest to be fired up but could suit us provided we play counter-attacking football. Dolan must play central in this One and do exactly what he did against Swansea. Long balls to Gallagher or into the channels with Rothwell or Buckley switching it up with midfield runs and playing BBD/Dolan in behind.

That said - think we will lose 1-2 but not sure why...

Two games in and Mogadon is coming out with this shite: https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-team-news-forest-21332142

Did the club release 12 players without the smoggie simpleton realising? Who could have known that when that many leave it would leave holes in the squad.

They are doing even less training than usual - is that possible 🤔😉

I have used ifollow in the past and, similar to our NZ based friend BRFC4EVA, I need access to full match replays.

Before shelling out my 170 pounds for the international subscription I tried to get an assurance from Rovers TV that they were included. Here is my email:

I live in Australia and previously purchased an ifollow pass to watch Rovers games. I was able to watch live matches or I could also watch full match replays on “catch up”.
It is not clear whether the full match catch ups are available via the 170 pound international pass. (Games here kick off at midnight or 1 am so live viewing is not always convenient.)
Please confirm that I will be able to view full match replays with the international pass.
    Thank you

    I received this reply:

    Thanks for the email.

Yes, live and on-demand are included in your pass.

    Kind regards,

Either there is a temporary blip or his reply was misleading. I am following it up.

Did you ever get an updated response? Still nothing available as far as i can see...

Yeah, no matter where you played him he wouldn’t look out of place. Mike England was the same.

Combine Warhursts versatility, injury record and that was voted "best dressed" (for real) at the club and we may have witnessed the ultimate bromance between manager and player 😁

Oh yeah - Millwall (just to keep it on topic 🤔)

Millwall presented a completely different challenge to Swansea but Mowbray opted for the same formation but a different tactic of no discernible press. I thought we were comfortable in the first half of a poor match will Millwall only threatening from set plays. Mowbray changed the system at half time to go to the back 3/5 which he seems determined to prove to somebody that it works. We offered no real threat to Millwall and some players again seemed confused by what Mowbray was asking of them. After Millwall scorer (when our three central defenders went awol) we had another change of system and personnel which produced our best spell of the match. Overall I thought our late endeavour deserved a point and Brereton once again looked a different player in the system we played later on as did Gallagher. I thought Carter looked a better left back than Pickering when he moved there as we looked far more solid defensively.

We had a horrible journey with cancelled, late and broken down trains and were given a plethora of feeble excuses.

Watched on tv so our views may differ but thought we were being dominated at THE end of the first-half but the change at half-time gave us control until we lost momentum when Lenihan gave them respite with the freekick/yellow. Think Millwall adjusted their formation slightly as they regained control until, as you rightly say, Rovers changed again after the goal against.

Thought Gallagher and Dolan did "ok" first half whilst Buckley and BB were missing but no question that SG and BB should have been up top from the start for this game. Rothwell benefitted from Carter coming on as he no longer had to cover the area between Pickering and Ayala so good changes during the game from TM and co.

BB does need to careful with the theatrics - easy to get a reputation as some of his "falls" were just too OTT

Good to know that the trains haven't improved in 30-odd years 🙈

Davenport been good since coming on. Buckley was useless today. Too physical for him today. Chapman is crap. Nyambe poor today. Ayala MOM. Brereton really good second half.

    Awful first half.

    Enjoyable second half.

    Fair result

Davenport awesome performance considering he never came on 🤔😉 (it was Butterworth)

Ayala makes a difference but was caught out for the goal. Agree on Buckley and Chapman (today) and would put McBride on bench in future instead of Chapman.

Once again a referee sets his stall out about what the threshold is for a yellow card - then wipes the slate clean at the start of the second half and books a Rover for an innocuous (if cynical) foul.

Brill the standard of officiating in this league.

    Clear yellow for me
