Why is Graham on the bench? If he's fit enough for the bench he's fit enough to start.
A wild theory: Bring Graham on after 70 minutes to make us more resilient in the last 20 minutes? (Or rest him if we are already 4-0 down)

Buffon, Oblak, Alisson, Handanovic, Courtois, ter Stegen (who for me is the best in the world, he is the complete goalie in the modern game).
Fair enough. Buffon is old school for me while courtais is something inbetween.
Seem to remember ter Stegen being comedy gold when he first moved to Barca though?

I know just what you mean, I wasn't the greatest header of the ball because I just didn't like heading.
After being literally knocked out from a very wet, old and heavy "casey" as a 12 year old i was never busting my ass to win headers afterwards ?

Regarding Raya: personally think he is a very good "modern" keeper - kicking aside but that is improving.
Trying hard to think of a keeper in the current game that dominates his area? Seems more that reflexes and distribution are the key attrubutes

Impressed with hos comment that it was a penalty yesterday straight after the game. Most would have "not seen it" or blamed the ref/var for the result.

Both.
But being honest they obliterated our defence for large periods - Raya saved us a few times and even Danny Graham gets a mention on BBC for blocking shots ?

This is just like under Bowyer.
One win and it’s back to full-on superfan support.
Delighted with three points against the Baggies but he’s only one dodgy team selection of being right back at square one.
I hope the above was written with a touch of irony because otherwise i respect your opinion about TM even if i think he is doing a bloody good job.
Little bit worried that the disconnect between fans and team is creeping in but apart from shambolic defending i still see players running and battling hard - something lacking pre TM under Vs. Not all is rosy but better than i expected at the end of last season.

Need to stop slowing it down in games. Looked good until we decided to "keep it calm" when we had an extra man Thought Armstrong was the wrong sub and both Palmer and Rothwell should be fucked up n down for diving

Yeah it deflected off Brereton's foot ??
Tbf we did get the throw in ?

For anyone wondering why Rothwell doesn't start - so far he's been the main source of Sheff utds counterattacks

Tony "groundhog day tombola" Mowbray confuses entire internet ???

I don’t think it’s even just BB, I think it’s that we had £7m to spend and spent it very unwisely. If we hadn’t spent that money I think there would be a lot more patience and understanding. This is pressure (or justifiable criticism) that Mowbray has brought on himself - or someone else has put on him.
Agree entirely.
Merry Christmas ?

We were 7th, and 7 games later we are 14th and likely to get zero points in the next three games. Worrying times.
Glad we finally agree on something though. ?? Merry Christmas.
Must admit that my expectations were lower so 7th was massively overachieving. 14th or 17th to me is less important than the buffer to the bottom 3.
Not directed at you but suspect the Brerton signing is a factor in the frustration. If TM only had Nuttall and AA (Samuel injured) then i wonder if we would be more "understanding?"

Agree - people have higher expectations at the moment purely down to the job he has done.
It’s one thing to have a different opinion about the teams he picks or the subs he makes, but in my eyes; demanding “ruthless changes” makes you look and sound stupid when we’ve lost twice at home in 15 months.
Thankfully I believe TM knows the subtle, slight changes to improve us by fine margins is the way forward long term.
This.

Everyone at the game then?? ?

Actually happy (ish) that Nuttall has, rightly imo, moved up the pecking order based on merit (even if u23)
Also not the first time BB has been omitted when DG doesn't start
