Matteo was not the poorest player, I dont know why all the critism is again aimed at him. Gray and Mcevely were awful, Gray was useless going forwards constantly running into a opponent or having his own hit the ball boy competition. Rovers need to make Left back number one priority now. Zurab was very very good, todd looked shakey as always.

Agathe is the only player whos caused them any problems. Gray constantly giving the ball away as well.

Why has england pinned all its hopes up to this tournament on a thug like Rooney who cant even stay on the pitch long for the entire match. We dont see other world class players players acting like this, Henry for example when he was frustrated against Spain we didnt see him acting like a thug. Rooney a footballing role model to all english youngsters, says it all really.

Why the hell is Jim Rosenthal, a Formula one presenter, presenting ITV's World Cup!. Is it me or does BBC's Ray Stubbs seem totally uneasy infront of the camera, hes a awful presenter. Adrian Chiles should be promoted to the main matchday programmes.

He heres hoping the BBC use Desailly much more, a very interesting, funny without trying too hard ( linekar ) and likeable person, something which is rare in football. Anyone notice both of the BBC's non english pundits, desailly and leonardo, have been the most likeable pundits on the BBC since god knows when. Ian Wright needs to get the chop, hes annoying, biased and overly loud, always laughing at Linekars 'jokes' to be one of the 'boys'. Also anyone notice he always makes a point of praising the black players more then anyone else?
