  1. In that scenario it's an emphatic yes from me to garner some joy.
  2. Ryan Lowe gave his players stick post Sheffield so that may have some positive effect. Swansea are a lose canon, depends which Russell turns out. We just need to win and hope. I'm obviously clutching at straws but there's a way if there's a will.
  3. I agree. We can beat Millwall and Preston and Swansea are capable of at least a draw at home in their final games.
  4. It should not have been enough to take the players eyes of the primary target, promotion. Good cup runs were a welcome unexpected gift.
  5. He got a burst for that goal though.
  6. BTW Leicester v Everton is a cracker. Vardy still has the electric pace and finish.
  7. Ably assisted by the trash that is Sylvester, Fielder, Mr. Knows Where The Skeletons Are Cheston
  8. I kind of expected the downturn under Mowbray more so than this season when we had it in our control for so long. Lack of goals caught up with us and that was started under Mowbray by him going the false 9 midget route and continued under the failed, so far, GB regime.. a man out of his depth.
  9. Pears was stranded at the post when he missed the cross and didn't move until after the header hit the bar and then punched it downwards. Pathetic.
  10. He was very polite but very clear and to the point. It will not have missed its targets.
  11. Loans and frees with GB in charge does not give me the slightest bit of confidence. I also do not think the Championship will be so bang average next season with so many rated teams underperforming allowing Luton, Coventry, Millwall, Sunderland and us to challenge for the playoffs This season was a once in a decade chance which we have messed up with what, quite honestly, has been a death spiral of Mowbray proportions.
  12. I'm off to watch Leicester v Everton. We will be playing at least one of them in the Championship next season.
  13. And behind the likes of Luton and others no better financed than us.
  14. Just seen the Carter goal. The SS strike is worth watching again. Perfection in the strike and an inch lower it bounces over the line. It didn't go in but I'm lucky I got to see the skill. It is so good and just reinforces "take the fucking shot" and see what happens.
  15. I have watched Luton a lot this season. Today is their poorest display I've seen from them. Usually they play a much faster high intensity game and kick the oppo ... a lot.
  16. That was a great effort by SS. Class strike.
  17. I lose my stream and we score. Someone is trying to tell me something.
  18. I had high hopes for him but he has been abysmal for ages.
  19. A summer being told how well we did, how we overachieved and how good we will be after the summer window. Fuck that, I'll be watching the Ashes as project stay in the Championship continues.
  20. Luton have realised that if they come out of 2nd gear we have a problem. And then they fucking score. Useles shitpile
