You can also look at it as the casual fan (and even some more than casual) can't afford 2 trips to Cardiff and are banking on an upset. I think if we were playing Leicester in this round there would be the same problems with ticket sales. I have the resources to go over there once this spring, and decided to take the risk of us getting to the final instead of coming over for the semi. Even for someone coming from Blackburn, 2 trips down can get pricey, factoring in tickets, transportation, food, booze, hotel, etc.

Well, now that the 3-5-2 is being used again I'm starting to win. If I win the rest of my matches I'll win the division, as I'm in 4th, but 2 points out of first and I play all those teams above me once more. My defense was good in the 4-4-2, but I couldn't score.

We'd have had a lot less penalties without Dickov. Yes, he had a pretty poor game, yes, his whining is getting annoying as heck, but he is playing a role he shouldn't have to play had we gotten a decent striker in the window.

I thought that looping shot (ended up over the bar, of course) was terrible in the first half. He had a man going towards the back post and a pass would have caused much more trouble. The fans in the stand behind the goals must love him if they like fetching balls, though (no sniggering all you Beavises).

Yes, the FA so wants a Manure-Arsenal final that they have drawn them against each other before the final in the 2 years before this... I still don't see why everyone is scared of Manure, as we've beaten them the last 3 seasons (we beat them this season, that handball goal in the "Ferguson minute" didn't happen, I tell you).

Another good youth pull, but another disappointing draw. No promotion for me this season. I think I have to go back to 3-5-2. Just got a formidable pm for fairly cheap, just have to get his form up. Have some money to spend, and probably a keeper to sell soon, too. After I sell one more, probably, I'm moving on to PM training, as I'll have some money to spend on younger trainees.

I want Arsenal or ManU. Arsenal seems a little depleted and is having some chemistry issues. We seem to do pretty well against ManU, so I wouldn't mind seeing them. I just have a funny feeling about Newcastle and silverware this season the way they have been playing lately (and if you look, it started at about the time Bellamy left).

But if we really wanted to be traditional, JAL, we'd be wearing brown socks...

I remember seeing something a year or 2 back that Leicester City FC was going to change their name to Leicester Fosse. What ever happened with that?
