tell us about how often you saw Andy Taylor, and perhaps what qualities he would bring to a top half Premiership club.
Any answer to this Rover6?

Is there a Grooby for MISSING THE POINT?
I'd imagine it would be a clean sweep.

How's about you all sing loud enough so that the drummer doesnt need to help us!! If we were really loud and had some proper football songs then there would be no need for him, however our songs lack originality.
Why do our songs lack originality?
Because everything is punctuated with THUD THUD THUD THUD
When something starts, attempts are/were made to punctuate it by THUD THUD THUD THUD

Let's see if we can explain so the dim will understand.
If you sit in the JW towards the Darwen end, the Blackburn end sounds very quiet indeed. They may not be, but the sound doesn't carry past the half-way line. Hence one side always says the other is qiuet. Sitting near the halfway line, I heard both the Blackburn end AND the Chelsea fans (who insulted our fans for most of the match with their singing because they couldn't hear the Blackburn end) albeit both were quiet.
Once in the past Jan, you have accused me of being above slanging. Perhaps you would afford all users of the board the same courtesy?
For those of us who sit in the Blackburn End, and due to the appalling acoustics of modern football stadia those who sit nearest to the Blackburn End along the side stands, will have noticed a satisfactory improvement in the atmosphere, most significant was the starting of a chant that simply would not be possible with mindless drumming.
Those who sit at the Darwen End side of the ground will probably not have noticed anything, frankly I dont care about that, I care about the football experience. It was better on Sunday than it has been for some time. It may not continue, it may continue upwards, lets watch and find out.

Some of you have no idea what is in the best interest of the club.
Hughes Out eh Eddie....
-
Obviously they aren't.
Dont let Rover6 see you say that. Given his extensive experience of watching the youth team

well done pedersen today, i thought it was a decent performance from him today..good corners, good control, good tracking back..all he is missing is a goal-and because he is known as a goalscoring winger i suppose until he scores a goal he will be called crap and everything else..
I dont agree he was "good" today.
But he was certainly far from @#/?, some of the vitriol puts my anger at the referee into context!

It didn't say he was brought in by rovers to fill the place, it just said gamst had aspirations to fill the place
I think it is more the "close season departure" bit
-
The isuse is more about lower league teams getting people through the turnstiles, rather than protecting the attendances at the televised clubs - who receive ample financial compensation.

A cool 150 mile round trip for the home support

Interestingly when you look on Man Utd's website the section we are in (E230) is priced at £34, so it looks like the thieving gits are charging us more than they would charge their own fans.
They give a members discount of £5 per ticket to members of "One United" which they charge £28 per year for.
You also need to be a member to be able to apply for the ballot on league tickets.
-
People pay to have an opinion, but booing is not an opinion,it's demeaning and outright childish.
So it would be ok to shout " (Please don't use that word again) off Pedersen, youve been @#/?, again"
-
Anyone got a brick wall?
-
united away, worthington cup final i only could get 1 ticket, do i need to go on
Until you get something remotely close to the truth....
United away goes to general sale every year, and for the last few years we have returned part of the ticket allocation to United.
-
no thanks these glory hunters make it hard for real fans to get hold of tickets for big games like cup finals and away to big clubs
An example of this last occuring?
Wasnt it 1960?

A Price Waterhouse report that I've just read says turnover for both Celtic & Rangers has gone through the £60m barrier.
That is what I saw earlier, but I think it was from two years ago.
The more recent £75m article was for turnover 05/06 - the last released data.
-
Don't think you're right about Celtic and Rangers. They were well behind us in terms of turnover even before the latest Sky deal.
Celtic's turnover was £75m last year
Rangers are on about our current level - in the £40m's
-
We have a bigger overall turnover than Celtic and Rangers.
Im pretty sure they are both pushing £65m, compared to us at about £40m

FC's attendances have stabilised at just over 2000 so far this season.

All i can say is keep up the good work Dunny.
Had you said that perhaps you wouldnt have been on the receiving end of quite as much sarcasm?
-
Gilberto didnt play and also Rosicky didnt play central midfield but a certain second rater whom some on here seem to admire did ...Flamini played. Dunny's confidence grew when he scored that goal and fair play to him but in the first half of the Arsenal game if you thought Dunny did well......
Chelsea next and some world class midfielders to compete against like Essien and the fast improving Mikel now thats what i call a tester for Dunny, should be good.
Question well avoided....
Enjoy gloating when he puts in a bad performance, it will happen of course.

What about Arsenal's midfield?
They second division at best as well?

SO YOU HAVE NO ANSWER TO THIS 6.
PERHAPS THIS IS WHY MR TAYLOR IS PLYING HIS TRADE IN THE LOWER REACHES OF PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL?
Perhaps you should be asking why the academy isnt producing talent of the required calibre, rather that campaigning for medicore sub standard players to be given first team appearances.
But of course, you dont actually know how good any of them are, as you dont watch them. Ever.
