"Feel free to post my e-mail address on
the board if anyone wishes to discuss confidential details with me."
Go on, what've I missed?
-
I almost read that.
-
Not really - every other striker in England is injured, and he's RIDICULOUSLY overhyped. It's Walcott territory.
No Nugent actually played.

BENTLEY SCORES FIRST ENGLAND GOAL AT NEW WEMBLEY

Crikey stu if you had taken some extra 10 grand pa job you could be going to Villa Park sipping champagne in a private helicopter!
Its nothing to do with whether I can afford it Gord, I did it until two years ago. Then something clicked, when Rovers are playing away I either tune in on the wireless, or make a visit to one of a few local non league teams. Bamber Bridge, FC United, Darwen this season. Or sometimes I even do both.

Im with the good capt'n here. Although my limit is slightly higher than that (except for special occasions - like the latter round of a cup competition for example).
-
AFCW got docked 18 points as that is how many points they won whilst fielding their eligible player.
WHU won no points whilst Mascherano was playing, and alledgedly that was the dodgiest transfer.
-
Maybe it's just a ruse to confuse your evil sidekick?
Ive always wanted a sidekick Neil, nice to meet you.
-
Someone is pretending to be me!!!
@#/?s!
-
Your spelling's awful
-
He's becoming a bit of a cult figure isnt he.
Is he real?
-
Are you you teak ing the mickey here?
-
Phil, Ooijer broke his leg a while ago not 5 hours before the transfr deadline. !
WHo is to say that Wigan didnt make the bid 5hours 1 min before the deadline and Hughes rejected in out of hand?
-
Any word on a new contract for the great man???
Hughes mentioned offering him another year before Christmas.
-
There doesn't seem to be much point debating whether he's being forced to play, if you read what Hughes says about it, it sounds like Tugay will agree to do it anyway because he's proud of playing for Turkey.
I dont think anyone is saying he's forced into playing. It was just an enquiry wasnt it?

You're right Aussie - Makalele it was.

Can I ask to someone that knows... If a player declares himself fully retired from international football, can his country enforce him to play (thorugh FIFA)?
They can't make them play, or turn up for the national team, but they can suspend them from playing for their club team - it was threatened last season with someone, might have been Gallas?
-
Well folks did anybody see him? - I saw the two young lads but I was later getting on today and went looking for him but didn't see him so looks like it will have to be the Pompey game.
The one who harrasses the goalkeepers posts of the official board - he is called "Scott." He doesnt like me.
And I also heard the dulcet tones of a certain resident of Rishton declaring undying love for him today.
-
Is the match on TV? I'd like to see them in action especially if they are both on the pitch at the same time.
Sky Sports 1 - 7.30pm - Feb 6th.
-
I'm interested Stu, but I guess u already knew that..didn't see this post before now
Further details available soon.....

Todd is far from one of our best players, he was excellent for us a few seasons ago, however we are moving on up at present and I believe that Nelsen and Zurab are both far better centre halves than him, as is the injured Ooijer.
-
He slid, which made it difficult to spot, esecially as the Liverpool player stepped out at the last second. Under the rules, benefit of any doubt is supposed to go the attackers way.
Also, I'd prefer if offside was done purely on foot position if possible. Leaning offside while starting to run shouldn't be offside!
There was no doubt though.
And it should be on foot position, but the camber of most pitches makes it night on impossible.

Well, I'm not keen on drummers, but at same time it's a free country, and afterall they still love Blackburn Rovers. Each to their own.I blame seats and over stewarding , more than i blame the drummers for the lack of singing.I just think you sing better when your stood up.
and you will never find me suggesting they dont love Blackburn Rovers.
I am suggesting they hinder rather than help.
And yes, the elimation of standing and over zealous stewarding has damaged the atmosphere at some football grounds moire than any other single factor.
-
I think I am one of the few that like the drummers. I reckon without them there would be no singing at all
We managed for years......
...Im fed up with songs that I start being stopped by out of time drumming, or worse still what does that mean? get into em.
People who sit anywhere near me will appreciate exactly what I mean.
