  1. Haven't written, though that is a good idea.

I realize that Sports World runs the club shop now. I'm more concerned with the lack of official merchandise I can purchase. I have to get my scarves through eBay or third party sites. I can't get keeper kit. Presuming Rovers had made other items, they'd be available through the club shop. The club shop is bad for a variety of reasons. The customer service issues are indeed not Rovers' fault. The lack of merchandise is.

We havnt got a club shop though.

  2. Nice to see that the "refresh express" idea that has worked so well since about the 4th game of the season went tits up yesterday.

No one turned up to serve the ale.....

...then when the stroppy cow did (at 3.55pm!) she started being all aggressive with some lads who cheered, pointing and shouting "im not serving him, or anyone who tries to use his ticket"

And they say customer service is dead.

  3. Why on Earth is this being voted for now?

It makes the 'new' kit (it's only a few months old for crying out loud) feel outdated already. What a ridiculous idea given that Christmas is around the corner.

It was January last year, and those shirts werent available until late summer, hopefully given the continuity of sponsorship now and the early shirt selection, we will be seeing the shirts available earlier.

Of course, there would be plenty of time between January and May to do that if desired.

  4. Why can't it be done by the fans?

It strikes me the Dutch authorities arent interested in solving the serious problems with Feyenoord and other clubs over there.

Im sorry, when this was "the english disease" we were excused from Europe for years. now it isn't and no one is interested.

The English managed to identify the idiots and ban them, surely our colleagues in Holland can to? And if they dont, they dont allow them to play.

  5. It's in France. The Feyenoord fans went mental in the first half , broke to the glass security wall and got into the Nancy supporters stand. During the 2nd half the police fired tear-gas into the Feyenoord stand to calm the fans down , but our goalkeeper got some of that tear gas in his eyes and the game was suspended.

    More people than that did!

The result for this has to stand, or Feyenoords results be expunged from the record and the club get what they deserve for the abysmal behaviour of their fans.

  6. Thats an extraordinary amount of ball! Last years final was between Boro and Seville who oth were in the groups. All eight of the 'exiles' were knocked out by clubs in who were in the groups. How on earth did you get that impression?

Perhaps if the sentance had ended "in the round of 32"

  7. Half time table

    1      Blackburn 3    2      1      0      5      1      4      7
    2     AS Nancy    3     2     1     0     6     3     3     7
    3     Basle           4   0        3        1        4        7        -3        3
    4     Feyenoord  3   0     2     1     1     3     -2     2
    5     Wisla         4   0     1     2     3     5     -2     1

  8. He's come here on a 4 year contract, agreed and presumably signed by both BRFC and himself, honoured it until now and appears prepared to see it out fully and then he want to move on. He has to the best of my knowledge not thrown any sulks or tantrums to get himself released any earlier so...... Just what is the problem?

    Exactly.

If Rovers decide to cash in then so be it, I do however agree that the experiment of making him captain has now failed so it is time for Tugay or Ooijer to take over that honour.

Those people who are suggesting he shouldnt play for us are simply cutting their noses off to spite their faces, if he is the best option on the day then he should be included. As long as he is our player.

  9. Is the draw for the next round random or...?

I mean how is it that we avoid CL teams if we finish first?

Its is random, with the following exeptions...

    - no club may be drawn against the another from the same association

    - the group winners will be drawn against one of the third place teams

    - the runners up are drawn against one of the 8 clubs joining from the CL

Group winners and runners up play the return leg at home.
