  1. The BBC report 750k, rising to 1.25m. But whatever it is, the point stands. Some mug has still paid for a "striker" who has scored a handful of goals in the last two seasons.
  2. Given we havnt had an offer accepted yet, personal terms havnt been offered to him, or rather, shouldnt have been...
  3. now Rev, interesting, having watched Matt at various points throughout his career, both at Great Harwood and Ewood he has always been able to that, he lacks, as I have said repeatedly real pace and shooting ability. You can teach someone to shoot, and they dont necessarily need real pace to be a success.
  4. Hopefully have a mock up by the next home match Gav, as long as I locate a suitable image - if not Ill wear my Garner one, in the same style.....
  5. The constant statements by Mr Peter Harrison are the reason he has been booed. Nowt to do with Rovers statements on the matter.
  6. If it happened yesterday the club would presumably want to have a 'proper' report - ie after tests before they make any kind of public statement.
  7. I was under the impression it was per seat sold.
  8. We probably were offered 6000 tickets - 15% under FA cup rules. To be fair to the bitters, it speaks volumes when they can only slag off the support - if I were them I'd be looking closer to home after a thrashing by a second string!
  9. "A real goal" IF Matty can continue with his good progress he COULD be just what we need, and in fact have lacked for ages - a proper box striker. How many times has the ball gone into the box and we havnt had anyone following in? Plenty and if's and but's. Still hoping I'll be proved wrong on this one.
  10. Charlton match tickets are more expensive than ours, especially for "concessions" and they havnt run free transport for years, its £5 per seat from anywhere on route, and it makes a profit. You think John Williams is telling lies? Personally I bvelieve the figures add up, as previously demonstrated. ven my two adults and a kid averages £15 per head, per match.
  11. What about the £3.5m+ for the difference in league placings Phil, if only it was as simplistic as people make out.
  12. Whilst you are quite correct Lee, our net transfer spend has to be amongst the lowest in the league. Not that I am suggesting that is necessarily a bad thing.
  13. No. You said "very little...... but so have non season ticket holders in effect" I was simply adding, that your "very little" is half of anyone else's "very little" Or at least that's what was written in the Ryanair toilet cubicle.
  14. Youve had three matches for £15? A Non ST holder has paid at least double that.
  15. Thanks for telling me what I was saying Phil. Next time Ill put it in enough detail for you.
  16. This is true Jan, very true. Now who's on the train to Everton on Sunday?
  17. I'll take it that you are unable to get over it and move on then? Fair enough, your call.
  18. Yes. And ofter clubs who have got to the latter rounds are only interested in maximum dollar, which as demonstrated numerous times is provided by high ticket prices. Which was the point I was making.
  19. I believe that was after you suggested certain things..... which has now been removed. Bottom line, you used figures which were wrong. I provided the correct figures. As you say, they didnt actually change the material point (hence the  smiley ) Now, must we continue this? Its incredibly dull and pointless.
  20. Or, I was pointing out that something was incorrect. Remove the chip from your shoulder, and perhaps you wouldnt get such a hard time. And yes, he did.
  21. Lee has advised they are expecting info on Monday - the game was late being arranged. Expect the tickets to be iro £20.
