3-1 vs Cardiff

Brilliant! We were awful but so was Hull. We have become a solid defensive unit. Never really worried second half but not expecting a goal either so it was weird but relaxing. Or boring if you will. Still 3 points and another big fat zero for Pears. Can’t really complain about that. No standout player for me - this was another team performance. Currently 6th in the league! Onwards and upwards!

ACD on for Dolan

He does what he does best, but think Baker has been invisible. Think the balance of the team is off. Not Trondstad best game, but he is far from the worst one today.

Could be the right game to give ACD some minutes. Could do with some pace on the break.

We are clearly missing our captain. So…pleased with the result so far. Not to impressed going forward and some last ditch defending. Missing the glue that is Travis. Never thought I’d ever write that! But keep at it and hope for a second. All that matters is 3 points on the board. COYB!!!

No, Vinjay, just no. You do not get to bring up Steve fucking Kean on the day we just beat Leeds at home and the best game of the seadon. That is just evil. Massive performance from Batth today. Shows what experience brings to a game like this. We’re not as good as first half, but are no pushovers. Just waiting for that one break that will be 2-0.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Please give Eustace money and time. I am 100% behind this guy if this is what he aims for. Solid and playing for your teammate. The amount of work Cantwell, Dolan, Ohashi, Beck and Travis has done off the ball this half has been really impressive, but Trondstad is something else when it clicks. All in all we’ve made life hard for Leeds without being dirty. Colour me impressed. And I’m really developing a soft spot for Cantwell. Better and better each game. Better and better defensively. But his main attribute is in attack and he is delivering. Just the right amount of flair for this squad. Think he’s too good for this league. Phew…need to get a cig after that. Bring on 2nd half. COYB!!!

Love it when we look solid as a team. Not waiting for a bit of magic from Sammie, Brereton, Armstrong etc. Feels like anyone can score.
