Ahhhh…..boxing day! The festive footy season has come to give grief, despair, enjoyment and pleasure to fans all over the world. Glued to the screen, finally some free time from family, dog at my side and a good cup of coffee. I’m all set. Bring it on! COYB!!!

The way Eustace has organised this squad is nothing less than impressive. Funny thing is he’s doing square pegs in square holes and it works for some reason. First contract extension we should get as soon as possible is Eustace. Haven’t seen this sort of solidity from a Rovers team since Hughes and Allardyce. Absolutely loving it! So this is five games in a row without conceding a goal. When was the last time this happened?

No it won’t. Our defense got this and Pears seems up for it. I’m absurdly calm as this is the best defense we’ve had in ages.

The refs in this league. I swear to Jack that if you put together a video of all the blunders over a season in the Championship and speed it up, you would basically have both the most horryfying and hillarious movie in ages.

Don’t necessarily agree with those subs, but hard to not have faith in Eustace these days so have to believe he knows what he’s doing. Still a big fat zero in the against coloumn. That is what matters the most roght now if you ask me. We will win this.

I like the look of this, but feel a bit uneased by it all. Four up top who has hardly played together could turn out to be a bad idea. We are about to come close to a game every 3 days - also called christmas. So going by how we usually perform over the holidays, every single point we can pick up before christmas is essential. Which brings us to today. Four wins (deserved!) on the bounce so we are due a loss? Right now I’ll easily take a 0-0 and that one point, but not expecting much from either team so I think it will be a «those who scores first wins» kinda game. Hopefully that is us! If not it won’t be the end of the world. Just continue tomperform as a unit and we will come good in the end. Please please please prove me wrong, Eustace! Take back midweek with a thumping win and I’ll start to believe in santa again. Onwards an upwards. COYB!!!
